  1. I could have gone with option A, as I really can't stand players who are self-centered drama queens. But I went with B as I know what he did in many games here was truly special at times, just not when it mattered the most, and that goes all the way back to season 1 in my opinion.
  2. Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith and Fred Jackson. I probably feel bad for Fred the most because of how bad the teams were that he had to endure here.
  3. A great player when he was healthy, but hard to miss since we've not really seen him play in over 2 years. I wish him all the best.
  4. I opened this thread wanting to poo-poo it, but I'll be darned if it doesn't look like a better option than the current garbage...
  5. If you field the defense that was really coming into form through week 4 and this game is a Bills drubbing. At worst a really solid handling of the chiefs. The fact that the score was even that close is a testament to OUR coaching making the most of the table scraps that were available on defense. This was not a coaching issue in the least, but yeah, bills lost, McClappy Bad!
  6. Josh Allen will win a superbowl, just not in a Bills uniform. For reference, the Harlem Globetrotters play an exibition "championship game" against the Washington Generals. Even the washington Generals have knotched victories in their history. 64 seasons, 0 NFL titles. I love the Bills, will watch them regardless, but have virtually no expectation of a championship.
  7. there's really nothing to aregue with here. It seems every year it comes down to one play made or missed, and the Bills seems to always miss.
  8. you want to move away from a head coach who twice shut down the NFL's best offense, ranks near the top in total defense and allowed less than 18 poitns per game, ALL WHILE doing so with 25% of his staters injured, to.... Vrabel? I really sometimes.....
  9. I really don't disagree with you at all. I have said the only games Josh has looked like Josh this year were against the Dolphins and Eagles.
  10. Has that not been Shakir's role this year? I can't say for sure if his routes are the same though...
  11. I am going to be the unpopular one here and say what I think is going on in the passing game. 1. Josh Allen is not getting great, if any pass protection on most of his drop backs, none. 2. He is not seeing guys get open early enough to make quick throws 3. Diggs isn't getting enough separation on routes, double coverage... ETC 4. Josh Allen is making stupid decisions with the football regularly, killing drives. 5. I think because of #s 1-4, he is struggling with his instinctive decision making in heavy pressure situations and holding onto the ball too much. I don't think it's the coordinator. Your chart points to throw more, have more turnovers, which I think validates my list.
  12. I have now gone from an objective critic, but not an outright apologist, to a ride or die kind of guy. To see what he and his coaching staff has had to endure and work through to get to 10 wins with the kind of injuries and piss poor play at the QB position at times, I am now all in. I'm sorry to those who gripe about clock management, and going soft on defense (see all 22 from Philly, he clearly did not), he's a rather solid coach, and I don't think you're going to find a single coach out there who would have done better, let alone produce what this team has. not one. This team belives in him, and that can't be measured in my opinion.
  13. There's a deep, dark place in the recesses of my mind where I have kept the memory of those uniforms, and seasons... along with Bruce Mathison... AND now I must drink away another thursday...
  14. All that doesn't matter if the Bills can't win a game. in reality, the Denver loss was the final nail.
  15. I came in here ready to blast this post... really... but dammit if it's not a brilliant idea...
  16. I have never been a heavy critic of Sean McD, but I also haven't been an apologist for some of the coaching errors either, BUT... I really feel somehow very drawn to rally around him. From the Hamlin incident, to the myriad of injuries this season, I really trust he is the right coach for this team. I wonder how many feel the same way in the locker room.... Also, as an aside, I really don't agree with the notion Dorsey was a scapegoat either. Far too often that offense was too rpedictable. Worthy of being fired, we'll see, but there was really no excuse this team should have been so anemic, none. I give that firing 4 out of 5 McDermott claps.
  17. I am not one who thinks McDermott hung the moon by any stretch, but I do think he's a high caliber coach, hands down. You can pick apart any one of his mistakes on any given sunday, but if you think this team can/will do better, I submit the entirety of all head coaches and dare you to find one that has never had moments they'd like to have back. He seems to get the most out of "next man up" guys, and you can't put a price on that. Just look at what's left of the starting defense as a great example. Get rid of McDermott and get ready to start another drought. Besides, would you rather have Clappy Saleh? I'll take clappy McD thanks.
  18. Watching that game recap in full is a sobering reminder this Bills offense today doesn't look much different than it did on that day. What's happening this year isn't really a fluke, rather, it's an exacerbation of the reality that this offense can suck at times.
  19. I have always loved Jim Schwartz. Biggest mistake was letting him go, but considering the braindead maroon who did it....
  20. If I'm in a foxhole, you can bet I'd want as much reality as I can get. Hop in OP...
