-9% chance of a Bill win here. As stated in an earlier thread, 44-17 or 38-10 patriots victory
-
I'd say, only deceiving by way of effectiveness across all games. there are several games where the offense was downright putrid. If you look at these same metrics by individual game, it looks a little different, or if you take out the outlier games, like San Fran for example, the offense looks a lot more pedestrian. I know, I am being a little pedantic on the numbers, but they just don't feel like a consistently high power offense to me. I think it's a lack of passing consistency that seems to stick with me the most.

I don't really care what they rank, as long as they score more points than the other team's offense does, but those numbers can be deceiving. Especially when you consider most of those numbers happen between the 20 yard line. What really matters are things like 3rd down percentage, drive sustainability, and trips to the red zone. everything else is stat board fodder.

How come Whaley upgraded the WR position last year?
Homey D. Clown replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. Exactly this. Now, I will admit that the WR group this team is currently fielding couldn't crack another roster anywhere else in the league, but it still starts with the QB. -
Biggest Surprise and Biggest Disappointment

Biggest Surprise: 4 game winning streak Biggest Disappointment: This team still does not have a franchise QB, or depth at any position -
Do the Bills have a better chance of........
Homey D. Clown replied to BmarvB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The are more likely to be 4-5 than anything. -
Can we please, for all that's holy, stop with the immediate love for anyone on this team? Let them accomplish what they are paid to do first. Enjoy the win, but let's keep things in focus until they actually go somewhere other than .500 at the end of the season. I have no more love for Rex at 10-10 than I did at 8-8.

Week 3 Predictions: Cardinals at Bills
Homey D. Clown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sticking with my 44-6 Cardinals win prediction. If i'm wrong, I'm only wrong by a touchdown either way. -

urgency or lack of there of
Homey D. Clown replied to Hardcore Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would his completely disastrous effort in New York as the head coach not qualify as enough evidence? What makes you think his stupid act in NJ would yield better results here? I am a car guy, I build and restore them, so let me ask you a question in a different context: If a car runs out of gas and won't start in New Jersey, why would towing it to Buffalo make it run any better?? I know a thing or two about clowns.... -
To those who were around during the last playoff games
Homey D. Clown replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am exactly where I should be, I have quietly kept a lot of my negative opinions to myself, with the ocassional outburst, but when they let Jim schwartz go, I said it right then and there in several texts that this team will regress until Ryan is fired. I truly think this is arguably one of the worst coaching staffs thet team has ever fielded, and that's even considering the stupendous Hank Bullogh era, AND never before has there been a thinner depth of talent at all positions, and an even weaker starting cast. The team has, in no particular order: Player Summary 1. Average/Below average talent at QB 2. Below average talent WR corps INCLUDING Sammy 3. Below average talent RB 4. No talent at TE 5. Average/Below average talent O-Line 6. No talent at FB 7. Below average talent at Safety/Secondary INCLUDING Gilmore 8. Average/Above average OLB 9. Average/Below Average ILB 10. Above average DE-D-Line. Coaching Summary ***** League worst coaching staff just after Cleveland and Washington That Crap-Salad will yield 4-6 wins. The media noise keeps us all hooked right up until Week 1 Kickoff. after that, there is just game day proof. Mark this post and slam me if I am even close to wrong. After 17 years of this trash, I am almost to the point of walking away. The only reason I don't honestly, is my LOVE for Buffalo, and of the team when they were good for those wonderful 8 years. Yes.... let that last statement actually sink in.... 8 years. this team was really only great for 8 years. 56 years of paltry existence really makes you wonder why you even care. I am so grateful for having my weekend not cluttered by this crap now that the Thursday embarrassment is behind us. I can't wait for the Bye week. Sadly, like a drug or a car wreck, I just can't stop watching or caring fully. -
Bills need to Tank like the Sabres
Homey D. Clown replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team doesn't have to try and tank, they just suck for no real good reason, and it would do them no good, they'll just pick another fragile, over-hyped talentless bag-ofshit player anyway, so what's the point? The Ryans can pack up now, their coaching days are behind them. I actually quit watching the game after the third quarter, i just can't waste anymore of my life on this team. -
If the Bills lose tonight...
Homey D. Clown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love the optimism, but why is it that other teams can find ways to shake the proverbial rust off faster than this team? this team should never have looked that miserable against an average at best opponent. the defense played adequately, but just like a Fitzpatrick comeback attempt, they fell short at key moments. -
If the Bills lose tonight...
Homey D. Clown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had them at 5-11 quietly, I don't see where this team resolved all the consistency and talent gaps issues they had from last year. I am not one of the cool-aid drinking fans that think Taylor is a franchise QB. I don't see any real benefit yet from the Watkins pick, he's been fragile at best. McCoy has yet to look anything like he did in his glory. There are literally no other receivers on this team that would start anywhere else in the league. The defense can only do so much, and when they are not at their best, they actually cost the team gravely with stupid penalties. Someone with any sense please explain how on earth anyone really thought this team was even close to contending for a playoff spot. Be calm now cool-aid drinkers... use facts please. Try and explain how sub-par talent at every key position was going to get this team past 6 wins. -
RG III Named Browns' Starting QB
Homey D. Clown replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
is this even news really? well, it is the Browns.... so... -
No... he stunk.
-
While I thought he was good at times, and managed 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons, I think he was slightly above average as a player, at best. he proved that by bombing out after leaving the Bills. 1. He never came through in the clutch to win games 2. He was not a true leader 3. He wasn't a true pro bowl caliber player at any point in his career. If it's now "The wall of average players" then yes... add him.

A Look Back at the Stevie Johnson Trade
Homey D. Clown replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stevie was the only receiver that had chemistry with Fitztragic. He literally bombed out once he left Buffalo. I think his shelf-life was exactly 4 decent years. Whaley traded him right when there was a little value. I truly don't think he'd still even be on the team this year.
