  1. This could describe the end of the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, and this yea'rs paultry, wimpy, gutless seasons. you should save it as a word document to your computer, then repost at the conclusion of the 2017 season.
  2. As I speak from experience as someone who actually attended "The Music City Mistake" and sat tirelessly through all these miserable rebuilding seasons, and false-hope nonsensical free agent signings, and every other shat-covered dumbass move this moronic franchise has made to basically maintain a 6-8 win season, I refuse to go into this game with a shred of hope for the post season. I really do not take that mathematical likelihood as "alive" or "in the hunt". This team has no business even sniffing the farts from real playoff teams asses, so, yeah, no. Not buying into it at all. for this week only, I will not root against the Bills this weekend, as I explained why in another thread. I lived through why we hate the dolphins, so I hope for a win, but make no mistake, I am by no means "back on the wagon" nor am I running beside it. Until this team makes a genuine effort in fielding a winner, I will not pretend to think they have a chance next year. GO Bills, squish the fish. Then get your clubs out, or your popcorn ready, I have a 70" big screen you can watch the playoff from, along with every other sub-par weak talented team. P.S. Not angry with you by any means OP, just don't share your enthusiasm. Give the newness of your relocation some time, you'll come around. That team you remember watching fondly in the 90's is long gone, and you'll quickly realize this bunch of wash-ups will not feel the same. also, the fans that you see tailgating has devolved to the point of national level embarrassment, so even tailgating is not what it used to be.
  3. If anyone has read any of my rants on various threads lately, you'd know I'm a bit fed up with this team, and quite disgusted. I really wanted them to lose against the Browns last week, not for any agenda other than my disgust for them not being better than any good teams headed to the playoffs. But this week, I simply can't wish a loss on them. It's the Dolphins, the team I grew up loathing with every fiber of my being, and several slices of my eternal soul. Can't do it. so, even in my current state of Malaise and discontempt for this wretched franchise right now, I simply will not root against them. for those of you who understand, this needs no explanation, and for those of you who don't, you really had to live through it to completely understand... which is way more than a little googling will provide you. for this week at least: GO BILLS. Footnote: Discontempt(I know it's not technically a word, I just liked typing it, and it sounds worse than regular old contempt)
  4. I don't know exactly when his era was, but it spanned more than a decade if i remember correctly, and I am not certain, but I do think they won a championship with a different QB/era. I'll have to dig on that... very interesting....
  5. The Bills have continuity, I don't know why people think they don't. perennial AFC East punching bags with a guaranteed 6-8 wins each year, and no hope of a good draft pick, or playoff birth. If that's not continuity, which drives consistency, then I don't know what is.
  6. I said before that the Bills would need the patriots to wear Buffalo Bills jerseys as they enter the playoffs this year, but I'd like to redact that comment. yep.... nope, can't think of any other possible way..... I redact my redaction.
  7. There's nothing fun about watching a team that never amounts to anything. At this point I hold out more hope that life on Mars will be discovered soon than a Bills SuperBowl victory, and I don't care who plays QB for the Bills when they do find that green little fella.
  8. I want them to lose in horrific fashion, in the way only this losing franchise can.
  9. the Exact opposite should happen, mancode my colon. and it is being called out as it is; Idiots at a Bills game, part 3. If you see a douchey Bill fan like that, film him, shame him, call them out. It's about time dumbasses get exposed for their sheer lack of intelligence instead of protected and cheered on behind the scenes. This is just garbage, plain and simple.
  10. Saskatchewan, Toronto, and Ottawa. Maybe they can suck in two leagues next year.
  11. I wish you health and that you decide to retire tomorrow.
  12. I hope he reads this forum. To the moron that shattered his leg jumping onto a table: you are the reason many Bills fans wished Bon Jovi won the bid, and why I rarely wear my Bills stuff in public anymore. I don't live n Buffalo, so the grief I get for how stupid people around the country think our fanbase is has me ashamed. I went to games and generally had a great time like anyone else when I was younger, and drank a lot of beer while doing it, but we tried to keep it respectable. I won't go to anymore home games if something isn't done about the idiots that now litter the parking lots.
  13. Joe, I love option #1, and any other franchise would make a great fresh start after this train-wreck season, but we all know too well that this franchise has rarely done the right thing. We're on(losing) to cleveland.
  14. Have the patriots wear Buffalo Bills uniforms in the playoffs. seriously.
  15. ......AND for the record.... Cleveland's all time winning percentage is 51.3% to Buffalo's 46.1% So... we really have no place to make fun. AND... that's not taking into account the Raven's seasons at all. If you take out 1988 - 1993, which looks like an anomaly to this(Bills) franchise's history, their all time percentage drops to 42.8% Keep on keepin' on!! When it's too tough for them, there's no fight in us!
  16. First and foremost, I want to applaud you for your tireless efforts to remain a product that generates mild nausea at the mere mention of your upcoming schedule during the season. Your dedication to running off any semblance of talent, or coaching potential is a model for all others to follow with the desire to remain a punching bag in their respective sports leagues. It is a testament to your hard work and determination to bring to life an NFL version of the Washington Generals, for, without this work, the likes of Ryan Tannehill and Ryan Fitzpatrick would not have remained paid employees of the NFL, which I am sure they have not appropriately sent you letters of gratitude. How you remain diligent at beating the odds at actually fielding a winning product is truly amazing. After crunching some numbers while drinking away another gutless performance, I found through some very scientific algorithms that you are defying the odds at winning to the tune of it being statistically easier to actually defy gravity. yes, really. So, now on to my plea. please, please PLEASE!! Do not try to win any more games this year, for it will prove nothing and ruin your chances at reaching the lowest winning percentage of all professional sports by one franchise in it's history. I know with your continuous efforts, we can climb that list, and this season's pathetic victories can be reversed if you just try. so, to summarize, PLEASE keep doing what you are doing, I know you can get there! Keep on snatching defeat from the Jaws of victory, there's one more river ahead for you to Drown in! See you Sunday, Homey D.Clown
  17. I actually quit watching this embarrassing joke of a team after they got their tails handed to them by the patriots, again, like every year. That was all the proof I needed to see this team sucked donkey balls yet again. I casually checked the final score on the Bills app, which was far less painful since then. I have to say, I have really enjoyed my Sundays with my wife, and found it fun to not care. Last year I was apathetic, this year, I completely bottomed out to the point I think I actually hate the team, at least for now anyway. The odd effect this garbage franchise has had on me is the 100% complete lack of interest in any NFL team, game, outcome, or douchey player tantrum. This is a far cry from when I used to sit out overnight for playoff tickets on Delaware avenue, and going to every home game with a trunk full of tailgating stuff. It's beyond pathetic when you have to "hope" other coaches and players retire in your own division instead of actually building a team that at the very least could compete. so, yeah... I truly hope and pray to all that's holy the Bills get their asses handed to them by the "factory of Sadness". Beating them would just prove we don't suck more than Cleveland, and I'd rather not have that as my qualifier for this disgrace to professional sports. As a side note of fact: If you remove the 8 years of Polian/Butler from the history of this franchise, they are in the running for the worst run team with the lowest winning percentage professional sports team of all time across all major sports. And even there we're not the worst, which is funny that even in misery, we STILL can't be #1. GO "Factory of Sadness"!!!
  18. It's really hard to get loud when your team has been no better than 9-7(twice at that) in the last 20 years, AND they are struggling to beat a 2-9 team. Like someone else said, if the team was, say 8-2 going into this game, that place would have been crazy. they are a very tepid 6-5 right now, with extremely slim chances to make a playoff run like every year since the century changed numbers.
  19. hahahahaha!!! that's what I literally had in mind!!
  20. since we're considering over the hill players, maybe we can call Ronnie Lott instead.
  21. We have a roster full of 7-9'ers
  22. get out... now. take your things and just go.
  23. It's hard not to see a political issue here, but when you allow the government to tell an industry they cannot do business in your state, THEN that's not a democracy. Sounds a lot like socialism, huh? Well, that's because it is. No wonder people keep leaving the state in van loads. sorry, this rant is really caused by my wish to see WNY and the state of NY to thrive instead of wither away.
  24. I remember when I used to dread bye weeks... but now it's a wonderful treat. I'll be putting together the house and generally relaxing.
  25. I thoroughly enjoy seeing him whine about stuff.
