  1. I don't want Hunt because I don't want a man on our team that has physically beaten a woman. I understand that Hunt has served his 8-game suspension for his mistakes and that at some point he gets forgiveness and is free to return and play football. I just prefer that guys like Hunt and Tyreek Hill, if they are allowed to play football, I am cheering against them and not for them. I understand that Hunt would upgrade our RB2 (possibly RB1), but I like cheering for people that I like both on and off the field and our current Bills roster let's me do that every week. This is just one guy's opinion... you are welcome to your own.
  2. He’s playing pretty well for a ProBowl alternate.
  3. When you can disrupt the passer with just three rushers and have the luxury of a spy without weakening your coverage on the back end, your defense has an advantage that very few teams have. Adding talent to our D-Line (Miller, Jones and an improved Rousseau) has really made a huge difference for us.
  4. Shakir has produced consistently in his short time here and has definitely earned more reps. If history repeats itself, Shakir will be stuck behind Mackenzie on the depth chart too long... just like Gabe Davis was stuck behind Emmanuel Sanders for too long last year.
  5. It’s the most important game because it’s the next game…. Yeah right!!
  6. I love this! I think it’s fair to say that our success in recent drafts is boosted by our coaching staff’s ability to develop talent in a culture of “get better every day.” I’m not trying to minimize what Beane has done - his team digs into the character of people to find football players who will thrive here.
  7. Exactly…. It’s nice to know that the face of this Boston-based business is now JA17.
  8. I’m in South Beach now with my wife and daughter… two college-age sons flying in tonight. Any tailgating advice for us with no car? The Bills Backers tailgate is sold out. Our current plan is to Uber in with cooler bags of beer and some food and make some new best friends.
  9. Yeah, but what about that one time when Beane traded up in the 2nd to draft Cody Ford and traded Ford away for a 5th? I read it right here on TSW that a good GM would never make a mistake like that. NOTE: This is sarcasm - put your pitchforks away. 😀 Honestly, the transformation of this team has been amazing. Look at last night’s performance, while missing our CB1, CB2, DT1, DT3 and WR2. We have so much depth that we can compete while missing 4 starters and a key part of our DL rotation.
  10. This is as exciting as the day that the NFL schedule release date is released 🤪
  11. Get a 30-day free trial from DAZN. I use DAZN all the time in Canada - every NFL game, either live or recorded. https://www.dazn.com/en-DE/news/nfl/how-to-watch-nfl-games-on-dazn-in-germany/1qk649ruza0be1fwxa8mdoiea2#:~:text=In Germany%2C DAZN offers new, annual subscription is €119.99.
  12. I read it on CBS Sports early this morning, but the article has been edited to remove this point that I was referencing. It is clearly not true that they have four straight weeks against teams coming off byes, like I said earlier today. Thanks for fact-checking.
  13. I read that the Jags play a team coming off of their bye 4 weeks straight. If that was our schedule, we would be livid. Edit: This isn’t true… I got this information from CBS Sports early this morning, but the article has now been edited to remove error. My apologies.
  14. What a difference a year makes!!!! Last offseason, we had endless debates on how to upgrade the TE position because Knox was too inconsistent catching the ball. Now we have a tough financial decision to make because Knox has developed into a top-tier TE, and will get paid well in his next contact. I want Knox to remain as an important part of our core team - good TE’s are hard to find and we are lucky to have one of the good ones. I prefer to extend Knox this off-season as his price will go higher with the salary caps going up.
  15. Your detective skills are second to none! Don't ask me how I replied to this thread while reading another. 🤪
  16. It's crazy to think that committing $258M to one player is a bargain, and yet it is proving to be true. On draft day, Josh said he would make the Bills organization look like the smartest in the league for drafting him. If his playoff performance this year is his standard of play for years to come, Josh will make the Bills look brilliant with this contract.
  17. We are lucky to have Josh Allen. As fans, we cheer for our teams to win... it's what all fans do. On top of the wins, Bills' fans get to cheer for great people who do great things in the right way. Not all fans get that experience. New England fans have to turn a blind eye to repeated cheating to feel good about their wins. Kansas City fans have to turn a blind eye to domestic violence history to enjoy their wins. Blind eyes are not necessary in Buffalo and we have many wins in our future to enjoy. Never stop appreciating how good we have it right now.
  18. So…. What you’re saying…. Is that our defensive coaching staff was out coached by a TE? The final 13 seconds really tick me off. We could have simply played our standard cover 2 shell and given up 10 yards per play and hosted the AFCCG. We didn’t need to back off into prevent defense and give up 25 yards per play.
  19. Do I want Daboll to leave for a HC job? Only if he can prove to be a descendant of the Cree Tribe, granting the Bills two 3rd rounds comp picks.
  20. I agree 100%. Here’s a solution: In the final two minutes you should be able to decline the penalty and put the time back on the clock. That way the team committing the penalty can’t run time off at the end of the half.
  21. We've had many more bad-weather games this year compared to last year which has a big impact on the stats. Overall, I think Josh is a more complete quarterback this year, even if the stats don't show it the way we'd like for an MVP race. He has added the ability to hit crossing routes and underneath passes much better than a year ago. I believe his decision making is quicker than it was last year as well.
  22. I came here to appreciate the play of Isaiah, but don’t agree with the negative overtone of the OP’s post. McKenzie was an absolute stud today and was the best Bills receiver, by far. I think his game has progressed to the point where it’s fair to ask if he should in the slot ahead of Beasley. Great game today!! I hope you are all feeling as great as I am!!
