What a difference a year makes!!!! Last offseason, we had endless debates on how to upgrade the TE position because Knox was too inconsistent catching the ball. Now we have a tough financial decision to make because Knox has developed into a top-tier TE, and will get paid well in his next contact. I want Knox to remain as an important part of our core team - good TE’s are hard to find and we are lucky to have one of the good ones. I prefer to extend Knox this off-season as his price will go higher with the salary caps going up.

It's crazy to think that committing $258M to one player is a bargain, and yet it is proving to be true. On draft day, Josh said he would make the Bills organization look like the smartest in the league for drafting him. If his playoff performance this year is his standard of play for years to come, Josh will make the Bills look brilliant with this contract.

Heartwarming Story about Josh, the Bills & a Kid
Forward Progress replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are lucky to have Josh Allen. As fans, we cheer for our teams to win... it's what all fans do. On top of the wins, Bills' fans get to cheer for great people who do great things in the right way. Not all fans get that experience. New England fans have to turn a blind eye to repeated cheating to feel good about their wins. Kansas City fans have to turn a blind eye to domestic violence history to enjoy their wins. Blind eyes are not necessary in Buffalo and we have many wins in our future to enjoy. Never stop appreciating how good we have it right now. -
Mic'd up: Kelce outsmarted McDermott/Frazier
Forward Progress replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
So…. What you’re saying…. Is that our defensive coaching staff was out coached by a TE? The final 13 seconds really tick me off. We could have simply played our standard cover 2 shell and given up 10 yards per play and hosted the AFCCG. We didn’t need to back off into prevent defense and give up 25 yards per play. -

Do you want Daboll to leave for a HC job?
Forward Progress replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do I want Daboll to leave for a HC job? Only if he can prove to be a descendant of the Cree Tribe, granting the Bills two 3rd rounds comp picks. -
1/9/22 Gameday AFCE Champs vs Jets Postgame Thread.

I agree 100%. Here’s a solution: In the final two minutes you should be able to decline the penalty and put the time back on the clock. That way the team committing the penalty can’t run time off at the end of the half. -
Josh - 16 games 2020 vs 2021 stats
Forward Progress replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
We've had many more bad-weather games this year compared to last year which has a big impact on the stats. Overall, I think Josh is a more complete quarterback this year, even if the stats don't show it the way we'd like for an MVP race. He has added the ability to hit crossing routes and underneath passes much better than a year ago. I believe his decision making is quicker than it was last year as well.- 91 replies

I came here to appreciate the play of Isaiah, but don’t agree with the negative overtone of the OP’s post. McKenzie was an absolute stud today and was the best Bills receiver, by far. I think his game has progressed to the point where it’s fair to ask if he should in the slot ahead of Beasley. Great game today!! I hope you are all feeling as great as I am!!

I’d take the ball in the first half today… it’s better to have the extra possession when the ball is dry. -
As much as I hated the loss in Jacksonville, the team may be better because of it. Learning to be the hunted includes knowing that every team is built on NFL talent and cannot be taken lightly. If you don't prepare fully through the entire week and bring all of your physicality on game day, you may not win on Sunday. I think back to last year's Hail Murray loss in Arizona. Up until that game we protected leads by attempting to run the clock with conservative play calling. After that loss, we never stopped trying to score until we were kneeling for the win. This team (coaches included) is still learning how to be successful when opponents are gunning for you every week and has shown a continuous growth mindset. I'd like to see nothing but wins for the rest of the year, but as long as the growth continues, we will be happy in the end.

Mac Jones attempt to injure Brian Burns?
Forward Progress replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
"As compensation for the hurtful comments that Haasan Reddick has shared publicly regarding the play of Mac Jones, the New England Patriots will be awarded a 2022 3rd round compensatory pick." R. Goodall- 102 replies

Derrick Henry potential season ending injury
Forward Progress replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Damn!!! I am horrible person, because my first thought was, "there goes my fantasy team." I hate to see players lose time to injury, especially superstars like Henry. If Henry is gone for the year, this will affect the Titans in the same way that losing a QB does to most teams. -
What about Paul and Mary? Can they be visible? Asking for a friend.

One major disadvantage with the RPO is that the O-Line needs to stay within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage or they will called as an ineligible player downfield if Allen chooses to pass. This really hurts the running plays where every O-lineman must be well positioned for pass protection (i.e. no pulling guards) and defenses are countering with just 6 in the box. I agree with the Cover 1 guy that we need to vary our looks a little better with some pure running plays called to exploit the 6-in-the-box defences.

3 Yr Anniversary of “The Leap” 9/23/18
Forward Progress replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks for posting. I agree with you that "The Leap" was the first defining moment where Allen won over his teammates and the fan base. In that moment, and many more that have followed, he showed that he is a true competitor who cares about nothing more than winning. After watching multiple versions of Bills QB's throw checkdowns on 3rd downs setting up hundreds of punts, it has been energizing to see Allen play to win the game. Even when the outcome isn't what we want, it's clear that he plays for first downs and touchdowns. What a great time it is to be a Bills fan!! -
Just post these quotes if we're trailing in the first half and we can trust that this board will calm down right away. 😜

Daboll on what went right/wrong
Forward Progress replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team has talked a lot about taking what the defense gives... until they give us room to run or throw underneath, then we go back to our 5-wide aerial attack. -
