I think some of our fans were more comfortable with an actual bad team than a good team that will some weeks underwhelm -

18 would probably do you in pretty good. that said, in the good ol college days, a number like that over the course of a 10pm to 4am kind of night could be managed if staying active, hydrated, fed, and not just pounding 18 shots of whiskey in a half hour. Especially if the bars aren’t pouring heavy and a few of glasses you don’t actually finish fully. you start doing that volume and 5% at the bottom of the glass becomes a full drink not consumed, misplace 1-2 partials along the the way, etc…

91 is joshs responsibility as a read and neutralize with his own decision

6 ft 5 in 1/8 8.03 and 5.76 being their percentiles on a 1-10

they are all nfl players, and often the line between 3 tds and 3 ints can be inches… but I’m not betting the house any more than when fitz occasionally had big games with Stevie. Did you think those were “extra motivation” or just you roll a couple dice enough and the number sometimes comes up?

no. I think the pats proved getting a top seed against soft opponents is much more important than a crushing schedule

no. Nor do I think a drunk driver does. And when they had multiple mishaps with firearms that only happen if flaunting the rules, proceed to remove the crew for their safety concerns, not regroup and implement proper protocol, and then end up killing someone as a result of continuing to ignore that protocol…. intent starts to become secondary to reckless disregard for safety. I don’t think he intended to kill anybody but I don’t think he intended to keep them safe either. indeed. It should’ve been on their body and they should’ve brought it on scene. The early reports that the AD grabbed it off a table and handed it over without checking are not good. everyone in a risk management role on site deserves to be ruined by this if the early reports are accurate.

Privacy for Josh Allen and Bills' players
NoSaint replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree that guys should be treated respectfully and will say I have no resentment towards the money. I’m all about celebrating the rewards for his success. the digits in the contract mean he could manage his privacy at his hearts desire or whim. He literally has the resources to create any type of bubble around himself that he wants. I think that’s a great for him! Doesn’t want fans bugging him for dinner? He can get a private room at any restaurant in the city or have a dinner party at home. In the mood for a little more attention, he can pull the curtain back. what I don’t like is fans policing fans on silly stuff and acting like it moves the needle on whether guys want to play here. It just makes for meaningless bickering that no one is better for and does not move the needle at all. josh is totally empowered to create any experience he wants. He doesn’t need inigo (or anyone else) telling people how to act. Simply, hes not a prisoner of the moment needing protection- he’s achieved the opportunity to have anything he wants. It’s Buffalo, it’s not like throngs of paparazzi are mobbing him everywhere he goes and he’s met with Beatles like crowds at his doorstep. -

They don’t need you white knighting for them. He has a $258M contract. The dude has every resource in the world at his disposal. He doesn’t need inigo Montoya telling people how to act around him. -
Emanuel Sanders - is What Was Lost Worth the Gain ?

I was not a fan of the sanders move but he’s pleasantly surprised me -
youre essentially arguing you don’t believe in home field advantage. While every team and every game is different I have yet to see an argument that the home team doesn’t generally win at a better clip. noise at big moments, kickers knowing the stadium, etc… it obviously doesn’t decide the game before it even starts but if it makes a coin flip into a 55-45 affair then yes, I’ll take it every time. And that’s before getting into bye week implications of potentially slipping down the board

But if it got us a corner that dresses in exchange for a guy not even dressing when we have both a surplus of bodies but also could consolidate snaps into a tighter rotation if someone went down would you complain?
-
I’m not 100% sure the root cause (ie if he was originally going outside) but agree that there is more to the story of how the play broke down. It wasn’t simply a slip. I would’ve guessed the line expected him to go more centered/slightly right with a 3 v 2 created in the interior- which is where we did see some push. And not simply a matchup win but a schemed advantage. Logistically the blocking assignments just don’t match his gap choice.

It was the wrong blocking scheme. I refuse to believe josh and the line dialed up what was the proper assignments for his run. I added this to another thread but if mongo and dawkins double in the hole and Morse just slightly impedes the DT… josh with some extra push from Sweeney can almost certainly fall forward. It’d be 3 v 2 at the point with two big dudes pushing behind the 3. instead dawkins was left to block a guy already inside of him (leans even further inside dawkins after this shot) which is a losing battle and leaves josh taking on an essentially unblocked lineman. plenty of people point to the push on the right… and that’s where the line seemed to scheme for this run. Josh and the line were essentially running two different plays if you ask me. Need a second post to attach immediately post snap showing them shoot right instead of left creating a disastrous situation of josh running into the hole the defense would expect with no real blocker due to the DE starting inside Dawkins pre snap
