My verdict on Mahomes is out until they play Denver and Von Miller. Mahomes has played fast and loose with the ball scrambling in the backfield more than once. Maybe I'm wrong but I think his fans will come back down to earth after Sunday's game.

He has his faults, no doubt. But I dig the beard thing.

I watched the San Diego vs. Denver game after our debacle against the Patriots. Rivers, who is considered a great throwing quarterback, was all over the place. The difference, it seemed to me, was that his receivers could pull the passes in. I don't think we are giving Tyrod the tools he needs to be more successful in the air...
