I believe if the Rams win LA will be only the third city where two different teams won the super bowl.
Baltimore: Colts, Ravens
New York: Giants, Jets
LA: Raiders, (the Rams were in St Louis the only time they won)
Coach/QB combo in the division that has had the most success against Brady/Belicheck had probably been Ryan/Sanchez during the two year period where they went to the championship game. I say them mostly because they beat NE in a playoff game in a season where NE looked
like the best team in the league by a mile over 2nd best. Other than that, Tannehill and the Dolphins have had their number recently when they travel to Miami.
Jauron - November 30, 2008 vs SF. We lost some games recently but were still 6-5 and very much in the playoff race. We just pounded the Chiefs one week earlier. But, we end up losing 10-3 at home to a terrible 49ers team.
I would argue all of Superbowl 40 was worse since that was multiple calls. Yet Steelers fans still brag about winning 6 SBs so if they aren't losing sleep over that Rams shouldn't over this.
Congrats to the Rams, well deserved. I'm not going to take anything away from them because of one missed call. Bad calls, missed interferences, missed holds happen all the time.
37-22 and as I recall it wasn’t even that close. I think the Dolphins scored a couple late TDs when we were already celebrating our trip to the divisional round. I believe that was also the last time we won the AFC East.
