  1. The reason people are upset is that after last year's ending, anything short of a Super Bowl appearance means the season is a failure, and the Bills are not playing like Super Bowl participants.
  2. Bills so close and yet so far from almost locking up the 1 seed. Game against Cincy will be so huge.
  3. Happily, the Bills have solved most of the problems with access to games by being a powerhouse team. I'm in AZ and for the most part never had the Bills available. This season, however, given the Bills marquee status, they have been on in AZ multiple times in addition to the Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday games. Out of 14 games so far I think only 3 haven't been available in AZ.
  4. That's the point - it was perfect technique. Very effective and greatly reduces any chance for a roughing penalty. I don't understand guys who lead with their helmets and then get all pissy when they're called for a penalty. Milano's tackle should be on every instructional video.
  5. Ok, score here, take the lead and then blow them out in the 2nd half. Right the ship.
  6. Guess the Bills missed their window last year. It was fun while it lasted.
  7. I understand the need to move the game, but it sucks that the Bills will now have two fewer true home games than true road games. Seems like the football gods looked at the Bills being Super Bowl favorites at the beginning of the year and said "not so fast."
  8. You can't say he wasn't clutch against KC last year. He's not the one that screwed up the 12 seconds.
  9. I'll cut the defense some slack. You have guys in the secondary out there who would likely be on the practice squad absent injuries. Losing the best safety tandem in football inevitably hurts. What's going on with Allen is far more inexplicable. I'd take a closer look at the 1st half other Packer game to see if he suffered a possible concussion. His decision making in the last 10 quarters is full of bonehead decisions and bad throws. That last interception was Noah Petermanesque.
  10. My God, Singletary might have scored himself. Incredibly bad judgement - rookie early season bad.
  11. Simply put you don't force anything in that situation. They had plenty of time and didn't need the TD at that time. Bad play call, bad judgement by Josh.
  12. Not the best game for the defense, but they are so banged up you can cut them a break. No excuses for the offense, particularly the offense that has come out in the 2nd half of the last 3 games. Big issues.
  13. Oh, when you're invited over for dinner at Jeffrey Dahmer's house bad.
  14. We're back to 1st year Josh. Great throws sprinkled in with errant passes and questionable judgement. I can see the elbow causing the errant throws, but the bad judgement is so much more puzzling.
  15. Is the world ending? No. Are there genuine non-negligible concerns? Absolutely. I think the problems with the D are mostly injuries. You need more than just schemes to win and the Bills are done a number of starters. The offense is more of a concern. Josh does seem off, but more importantly defenses may have found ways to defense the Bills, in which case Dorsey had better put on this thinking cap and come up with counter moves, other than Josh just running it all the time.
  16. I'm not going to comment too much on today's game because I'm so pissed, but the Bills' fanbase is anything other than spoiled. It has had to endure so much for so long. Expecting to beat a Jets team that was crushed last week by the Pats does not mean the fanbase is spoiled.
  17. They actually seemed to be on auto pilot a lot in the 2nd half. I don't think they thought GB could come back and they let their concentration slip. Hopefully Poyer is ok. I don't think it's a huge red flag, and perhaps it will be a reminder they have to play the entire game.
  18. As bad as the Bucs are, given how awful the NFC South is as of today they would win the division and host a playoff game against the 6-1 Giants. The NFL has to fix its playoff system.
  19. It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I honestly wonder how any parent in good conscience can allow their kid to play football. Even guys who don't play past high school seem to end up with bad knees, hips and shoulders at a relatively early age, and the possible brain damage is frightening. Adults can make their own decisions, but you don't allow kids to do dangerous stuff and football seems to be close to if not in that category.
  20. Normally, but when you're talking about teams in the same division and they have to play twice, it doesn't make sense to play the games at the time of year where weather is more likely to factor into the game.
