  1. No, there were only 3 seconds left. With that said, you at least send a guy running back to get the ball in hopes of a miracle.
  2. Thing is, you can't whine about the OL being bad as an excuse for Josh and then turn around and whine about the running backs. A bad OL is just as much of a problem for the running backs.
  3. Josh Allen is the MVP of this game. Unfortunately, it's the wrong Josh Allen.
  4. Really can't blame the line on that one, Josh missed the blitz coming and then he made an incredibly stupid throw.
  5. Hope the team proctologist is summoned at halftime in order to extract the team's collective asses from their heads.
  6. Ok, score here and get some momentum. It would be great to grab the lead after being outplayed the entire half.
  7. I think it has to do with the fact that the Bills' passing game is geared toward slant routes and medium routes that evaporate once you get close to the goal line. Couple that with an O Line not good enough to push people forward for the running game, and you have a combination that makes it harder to score a touchdown once the Bills are in the Red Zone.
  8. He really is insufferable. Michaels I like, but Collinsworth makes me puke.
  9. Just a stupid call by Belichick. Even if the FG was made TB had a minute to get into FG range. Add in the fact it was a 56 yarder in pouring rain by a kicker who doesn't have a huge leg and you get WTF.
  10. Hard to believe that this stadium is much older than War Memorial was when I went to my first Bills game in ‘62. The Rockpile looked 100 yrs old back then.
  11. Think how intellectually challenged the average poster is and half of the posters are even more intellectually challenged. h/t George Carlin.
  12. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/will-josh-allen-regress-will-joe-burrow-stay-upright-two-qb-storylines-to-watch-this-season/ Just one week though
  13. I'd have a lot more sympathy for him if there was any evidence getting the vaccine was the least bit harmful, or if he wasn't spouting nonsense about COVID, but screw him. He's just another ignorant anti-vaxxer who apparently doesn't realize there are lots of requirements concerning a multitude of vaccines in this country that have been around for a long time and for which he didn't have any input either. As was mentioned above, either get vaccinated, live with the protocols if you choose not to, or retire. This kind of crap is going to ruin what was shaping up to be an exciting NFL season.
  14. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/everything-that-could-go-wrong-for-the-buffalo-sabres-has-gone-wrong/?ex_cid=538twitter No, this isn't a post about the Sabres, per se, it is the cautionary tale for the Bills. As the Sabres' horrendous season starkly demonstrates, improvement and optimistic signs of growth in one season do automatically translate to continued improvement and growth in the next. Everyone expected the Sabres to be better this year, but as the article points out a multitude of factors, some random, others not, obliterated the hoped for playoff push. Similarly, the reasonable expectation is that the Bills will be better this year and could easily be Super Bowl contenders. Yet, all it might take is a single injury (e.g., Allen) and the best laid plans are demolished. Covid could also continue to have some effect on the season. You always have to have an eye on the future in the NFL or any sport, but it is also important to seize every opportunity to win now (which is why the KC loss was hard to stomach). It's a difficult balancing act, and so far Beane seems to have done a good job. I'm very hopeful for 2021, but fingers crossed that the Sabres' experience won't be repeated by the Bills.
  15. Truth be told, Paul Maguire was one of my favorite Bills of yesteryear. He punted 100 times in 1968 (in just 14 games) compared to Bojo's 41 last year. Kinda tells the story of just how bad the Bills were in '68. He and Sestak made great pizza too.
  16. This game shows how flawed Frazier’s defense game plan was. KC is also playing like they are throwing the game.
  17. On the one hand, this year was a huge step forward, and if they can largely keep the team together, make a few tweaks and stay healthy, next year should be even better. However, you can never tell when you'll have another opportunity to go the to Super Bowl. People get hurt, their attitudes change and other teams may get lucky. We can celebrate a very good year, but it's still terribly disappointing since there are no guarantees at all than next year will even be as good, let alone better.
  18. This is so sweet. Haven't been this pumped about the NFL since the last Bills' Super Bowl team. McBeane and Allen have proven themselves, and I honestly think Diggs may be the MVP of the team. So many clutch plays. Allen's been great, but Diggs has made Allen's life so much easier this year (as has the O-Line, which has really come through). I want the Browns for two reasons: the Bills' would be home and have a much better chance of winning, and the Browns have always been my second favorite team (they were my favorite team in the NFL before the merger).
