Thinking the same thing but this is an off Bills Topic page during the off season so I guess anything goes. That being said, guessing the OP isn't a huge Bobby Knight fan either...

Back in the 60's and 70's the Rochester area was considered Upstate. There was even an insert magazine to our Sunday paper titled UPSTATE. Not sure exactly when the Rochester region became associated with Western NY or the Finger Lakes but it wasn't always that way.

I played 18 holes of golf today for the first time in 20 years

I play with this guy...being president of a private club that plays at a public course it was my responsibility to talk with him about it at the end of last season. We'll see soon enough if it did any good. -
Natural Immunity Ain't as Great as Some of You Say it is
Steve O replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yup, article has nothing to do with being immune to Covid after you've been infected, all about future heart complications from those that have had it. Guessing the OP meant that the cost of natural immunity could be heart issues, which is a high cost. -
Natural Immunity Ain't as Great as Some of You Say it is

Well, I've had 4 cardioversions to put my heart back in normal rhythm. The first 2 kept my heart in normal rhythm for approximately 2 years each, the third for just 8 months, April will make it 2 years for number 4 (hopefully.) Had a mild case of Covid following the Jets win (watched it in a bar, guess I should have gone to the game. The owner he said I was the third person he'd heard from following that game.) Obviously this article is not the way I'd hoped to start the day, guess we'll see what the next year brings. -

Not exactly losing interest as much as shifting my interest from the NFL to the USFL...

Just remember the teams that played, because in 10 years they will be the answer to the super bowl trivia question "what two teams played in the super bowl the last time the Bills weren't in it"

Thurman Thomas was far faster than I thought he was...
Steve O replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember that ESPN had a camera on him they cut to often during the first 39 picks as 7 running backs were selected before him, 5 in the first and 2 in the second round (in those days the draft was 2 days, I think is was rounds 1-3 on day 1 but it could have been more.) The dejection in Thurm's face was obvious. The Bills did not pass on him as they had no round 1 pick that year (the party line was the first round pick was Bennett, they just got him a year early.) -
In 2018 at Auburn it was 4.37 https://nfldraftlounge.com/2022-nfl-draft-scouting-report-liberty-qb-malik-willis/

I did not check to verify but assuming the Bills do indeed play both in 2922, they would not play either again until 2926.

If they split and it is the lone loss for both teams they could meet a third time a month later in the playoffs...not unlike the Bills/Patriots meeting 3x in 40 odd days this season

Old Polish saying, Experience is an expensive teacher, but a fool will learn from no other (actually it's a Japanese proverb but it was told to me by an old Polish guy)

I mean, to paraphrase that guy on the Progressive commercial, Let's not talk about replacing him until he's actually interviewed for another job!

According to the link in the OP, "In his press conference after the game, Prescott said the intended play was something he and his teammates had practiced. "We've practiced it," Prescott said. "You hand it to the center. The umpire, all he has to do is usually come in and tap the ball. Don't necessarily know exactly ... why the hit (with the official) happened, I guess. Yeah, I know he's going to come in and touch the ball. We could say, 'Yeah, he needs to be closer to the ball,' or whatever, but in hindsight, it's just tough. Just tough to accept."

Lead singer of the Ronettes, older folks here remember a lot (or at least a few) of their songs. Toured with The Rolling Stones. Thank you for your contributions to the music industry. Billy Joel's Say Goodbye to Hollywood was written for her, somehow seems appropriate now. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ronnie-spector-dies-age-78-cancer/
