Matt Miller: 2020 draft set to have a "historic group" at WR, RB

I think it's also great that they are taking care of the trenches and TE first. Your skill players all look better with good blocking. It generally doesn't work the other way around. -
Matt Miller: 2020 draft set to have a "historic group" at WR, RB

Also an historic collection of sweet football names at the WR position. -
As an assistant WR coach, maybe. If he's into that kind of thing, I have no idea. Never met the guy.

Baller. What else can you say? I think it's nice to see some swagger in Cleveland; they may be the only franchise that's suffered more than the Bills.

2015, which was a stacked roster on paper at that time. Mario, Jerry, Richie, McCoy, Cordy Glenn, Aaron WIlliams, Sammy and Robert Woods at WR, a full compliment of solid OL, Kyle, Dareus, GIlmore/Darby, Clay (who was still considered really good at the time). And what happened? Mediocrity. That's why I'm not getting too pumped up about this year. Remember, there are 31 other teams also trying to win.

I had a big man-crush on Butler going into the draft, but I'm not a football expert and those who are apparently didn't think he was all that. I think the current regime drafts really well, so I'm behind their choices 100%.

Steve Tasker belongs in the Hall of Fame
skibum replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can we please stop with this? It's ridiculous. I love the guy, but the Bills' Wall of Fame is as far as it goes for Tasker. -
Shaq Lawson Option decision week. What do you do?
skibum replied to Seoulful Soul's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pick it up. He's not a Hall of Famer, but he's a solid starter, he's healthy, and he brings some years of familiarity with the personnel and the game plan. That stuff isn't sexy, but it's really critical to maintaining a consistent team, and you would have to sign a bona fide stud to compensate for all that. Why risk a change at this point? -
Which One - Fitz, Tyrod, or Barkley as Your Your Backup?
skibum replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz is head, shoulders, and beard above the other two. -
RD 5, Pick 147: LB Vosean Joseph, University of Florida
skibum replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will probably have to make the team as a Gunner, but hopefully he can do more down the road. An elite D-line can free up a lot of space for a fast LB like this; make him look really good! -
What week does Rosen go down and Fitz come in?
skibum replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Week 1. Rosen showed last year that he needs to sit and learn for a while. -
When did “Defense End” become “Edge Rusher?”
skibum replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My question is, why is it always written in all caps? You don't say, "let's draft a QUARTERBACK." Maybe we should ask this guy. I bet he knows. -
Marshawn Lynch has a better chance of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame than he does the Bills' Wall of Fame. Here's a fun game: Name other Bills who are legitimately more worthy than Marshawn (but most still not worthy, and in no particular order): Eric Moulds Kyle Williams Pat Williams Brian Moorman Jairus Byrd, no really Honestly, Chris freaking Kelsay might be more worthy than Marshawn Jerry Hughes Fred Jackson Eric Wood Travis Henry Lee Evans Don Beebe James Lofton Biscuit Steve Christie Richie Incognito Ruben Brown Will Wolford Probably 3-4 cornerbacks Your Mom

Select 2 players that will be drafted by Buffalo
skibum replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they don't trade up in rd. 1: Jonah Williams will be BPA at #9 JJ Arcega-Whiteside just seems like a McDermott kind of player. Depending on how things shake out, I could see them passing on him at 40 and trading up for him soon after. Or maybe they reach a little and take him at 40. I think the top 10 WR in this draft are all pretty close in terms of overall potential, just pick the guy who fits best. If they trade up: Ed Oliver in round 1 N'Keal Harry in late rd.1 or early rd. 2 I think the Bills were very happy with the way things played out last year, getting two blue-chip players via trading up. I think they do it again. -
The Worst Bills Draft Picks of the 2010’s

And the decade ain't over yet. -
Why I think T.J. Hockenson, TE Iowa, will be the #9 pick
skibum replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is no way he is the best player available at #9. -
Bills 2019 schedule officially released
skibum replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This looks like a very favorable schedule to me - They don't even have to leave the state of NY for the first 4 weeks! There are no trips to the Pacific or Mountain time zones. Almost every game is at 1:00, which should help keep the guys in a rhythm. No road games in the notoriously tough/loud stadiums like KC or Seattle. None of the opponents really scare me the way KC, LA, LA, NO etc. do - Their best opponents were the weakest division winners of 2018. The Thursday game is Thanksgiving day, which is a nice bonus for us fans. The only thing I don't like is the early bye week. I'm thinking 10-6 all day long! -
Am I the only one who thinks Kyler Murray is the next TIm Tebow? I'd rather keep Rosen, and I don't even like Rosen.

Tyree worked out for bills (Edit: SIGNED as UDFA)

I am hoping we use the low-round picks to trade up, not to pick a QB project.
