  1. Offense: Lots of run plays. Screens and check-downs. Dink and dunk and just move the chains, as slowly as humanly possible. Whatever it takes to keep the Pat's offense off the field. Defense: I got nothing. I would say 'get after Brady', but the so-far sub-par pass rush has me thinking this won't fly. At least there's no Gronk? I like McDermott a lot, but Belichick outcoaches him every single time. The 3rd quarter is going to be a bloodbath.
  2. Congrats, kid. You gotta figure if he has made it this far with only one year of D-1 college ball, he's probably still got a lot of upside. And he can do a freakin' backflip.
  3. The defense is still twice as good as the offense, so I'd say no.
  4. When did we have great records?
  5. It's all about the Bills offense this week. If they can stay on the field, just move the chains by whatever means necessary and eat clock, they will have a chance. The Pats defense has had it too easy so far.
  6. I think reality sets in this Sunday. The Bills D should be able to keep it from becoming a jailbreak, but I don't see a win happening unless the D also puts up some points. I predict a close, low scoring first half, followed by the Pats rolling in the second. 33-13 final score. The Bills have so far shown an inability to "make adjustments" at halftime, as they say, coming out very tepid in the 3rd quarter. The Pats are the best in the business at making those adjustments.
  7. Mama said Knox you oooooouuuutttt
  8. I didn't watch the game. You're welcome, Bills fans.
  9. Even some of his completions were a little terrifying today.
  10. I know the feeling.
  11. Yes, let's head into the Bengals game assuming we will win, all the while thinking ahead to the Pats game, which is more important. That sounds like a great idea.
  12. True, riding the Dirty Dog is nasty. Lots of people on the fringe; usually a few folks who were handed tickets by local police and told to get out of town, where they can be someone else's problem. I've seen desperate people loading all of their belongings, which are in trash bags, into the cargo hold. But I doubt that's the kind of bus you ride when you're an NFL baller.
  13. 1. O-line 2. WRs who get open 3. TE and WR downfield blocking 4. Better play-calling 4. Allen is a little quicker on the draw than last year
  14. I get it, it's his life and he was done. But you don't walk out on your teammates in the middle of the game, just like you don't just walk out of any job if you care at all about the human beings you work with. There's a right way and a wrong way to quit, and sorry Vontae, you did it the wrong way.
  15. What a nice bonus for the rest of the division, to have 2 games vs. the tankingest team in the league.
  16. If Aaron Donald was on the team, the Bills could run the table as long as they scored at least 10 points every week.
  17. It's definitely looking a lot better than it has in a while, but we still haven't seen how they look against a really good team.
  18. I can't give him better than a B until he starts hitting guys in stride. He is still mostly putting the ball in places where guys have to adjust awkwardly, and have no shot at running anywhere after the catch. If he ever gets that dialed in, he will become a Hall of Famer.
  19. Morse and Knox each had rock-star blocks on the McKenzie and Singletary touchdown runs.
  20. I'm sure he wants to be playing somewhere, but if he's going to be a Dolphin, Fitz is better off riding the pine and collecting his checks. You don't want to be his age, getting beat to death, playing for a garbage team that has no chance of making the playoffs. If I were him, I'd just retire.
  21. Oh, Josh, Josh, Josh...
  22. So, when do they show the Wide Right clip? I'm guessing 3rd quarter, during a coach's challenge.
  23. I think that regardless of how good your defense is, you try to score a touchdown on every offensive posession. Run, pass, what difference does it make unless you're actually behind on the scoreboard and are forced to take more chances and pass more. It's not like if you're up 10-7 you're going to take your foot off the gas because you have a great defense. In the NFL, you can't let up on offense until you have a sizable cushion of points late in the game.
