I'm actually amazed that more NFL players don't do this. If I had 8 figures in the bank, I don't think I would be all that motivated to go out and get crushed by 300 pound men until I can't remember my own name anymore.

He’s a perfectly capable #3 WR on a rookie contract, and he has a rapport with Josh Allen. There is nobody else below Beasley on the depth chart who has legitimately proven to be better than Zay. Why get rid of him now?

I more or less agree with the top ten, but the bottom 30 seems like kind of a mess. I think he based this more on statistics than on actual impact to the team.

While I hate paying hyper-inflated beer prices, I get it. If beer was affordable at games, fans would be even more trashed than they already are when they arrive. It's probably for the best that your buzz is capped at the level it's at when you walk in the place, assuming you can still walk. I would bet that stadium beer pricing just as much about maintaining civility as it is about gouging.

I feel like Shaq has always made a positive contribution on the field. Who cares when he was drafted three years ago. Why is this even remotely important?

I wouldn't say it's forever impossible. 99.9% for this year, yes. But with a year on the PS, he could make it as a return specialist/gunner/4th-RB-gadget player. The dude is a bona fide blue-chip athlete from his brain down to his toes, and he has the kind of vision that only the best of the best possess - and that can't be taught. If Joe Webb can make an NFL roster, I don't see why Wade can't.

How is he not eligible for the 53? Can’t teams sign basically anyone they want to, including clowns, house cats, Peterman, etc?

Jake Plummer would maybe be a better guy to frame this conversation with. He had tons of talent and was a good leader and energetic, positive guy, yet he never really got over the hump to greatness.

I do think he tries too hard to be The Man, everybody’s All-American QB and face of the franchise, and that’s a big burden for a young guy. Maybe focus more on the football until you get the technique down, then take all the selfies you want.

Also props to Lafayette Pitts, he had a couple of nice break-ups. Though maybe it's because he was being targeted... And Perry had a good night, though I don't know if he looked like an NFL running back, exactly. Yeldon was pretty bad.

Just the body language looks a lot different to me. The offense looks so much more composed and confident when lining up at for the plays. Last year, it seemed like everyone was always awaiting further instructions, then just hoping for the best when the ball was snapped. Allen looks like he knows what he's doing at the line, with intent. Not that his throws look a whole lot better yet...

I feel like the preseason games don't mean as much as they should as far as roster decisions go. How many times have we seen a guy like Brandon Reilly pile up numbers in the second half of these games, only to get cut anyway? I feel like that's what's probably going to happen with McKenzie and Wade. Shining in the second half of a preseason game doesn't seem to get you anywhere, because if the coaching staff thought you were better, they would have played you earlier in the game.

Didn't get to see any run blocking from the starters, though.
