  1. Hopefully they'll be looking past us when we play them. It's the only game I'll be able to come to this year.
  2. It proves that his reasons for retiring were not racial violence or community organizing.
  3. Much like saying your nascar has engine problems at qualifying but let's see how it does in the actual race.
  4. I've been using Sportsdevil but it has been spotty lately. Which add on do you use?
  5. What you get when you leave the door open in an airplane hangar?
  6. As opposed to all the millions we paid him when he DIDNT PLAY due to injury?
  7. The local media hasn't had to write about a playoff appearance in 17 years so why are we surprised their optimism is very tempered?
  8. New England shouldn't count considering they just make up their injury/concussion report
  9. I'm the last person to quote Vince Young, but he has a point. "I'd see a quarterback and be like, 'Dude is garbage, and I'm over here in the kitchen cooking turkey necks!?'" Young told Sports Illustrated. "I hate to name-drop, but [Ryan] Fitzpatrick is still playing!? He leads the league in interceptions, and he's still f------ getting paid? I mean, what the f--- is going on?" Source: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19750735/vince-young-questions-why-ryan-fitzpatrick-job
  10. Another Fitz thread. X years after he dumped us. I don't think there's an ex girlfriend/wife that's ever been pined for as much as this site longs for him
  11. Nah, Bluetooth. He may be old, but he's not THAT old.
  12. A lame excuse to repeat your insightful comment? I am aware of what I just said and no I did not quote you.
  13. Also deflated balls, video of opponents practice, stolen play books, gifted calls I.e. the tuck rule, rules made specifically for him I.e. The Brady Rule, and rules suddenly ruled illegal after the Patriots used them i.e. the 2015 substitutions/formations now made illegal. But other than that, yeah, a consumate pro
  14. There's only a relatively small window where you can be tested. How dumb or addicted are these guys?
  15. There was a 1-3% chance of making the playoffs at that point and we weren't mathematically eliminated yet. And I still was ok with tanking. What I really want to know what is where was the crazy accurate EJ Manual that wowed me in that Sports Science segment on ESPN that had me celebrating when we drafted him?
  16. Really? Fitzpatrick is brought up every week by at least one of his fan club and he dumped us for less money to be a backup somewhere else. Why not EJ?
  17. It's nice to know that this board still has its QB priorities in order. Based on the threads I've had the honor to read over the years, any prospective QB, regardless of talent, has to: 1) love dogs 2) have stood for the anthem his entire life
  18. For all of his faults, he has a Doug Flutie-like way of making plays at times. He would come dirt cheap with a myriad of behavior clauses. He would be a affordable backup. But ultimately the only way I think a team would take a chance on him is if he agreed to regular blood/breathalyzer tests in addition to random tests at the team's request.
  19. Elway is "looking to make a splash" in the offseason. And given reports that Romo's first pick is Denver, seems like a lock
  20. His name alone will draw coverage. That would be enough to get a healthy Watkins open
  21. I remember seeing EJ's Sports Science segment and thinking we got a steal in the draft. And up until his injury against the Browns his rookie year, he seemed on a decent progression trajectory to my untrained eyes. But he was never the same. Overly hesitant. Basically Trent Edwards jr.
  22. I don't know what's worse, having a wife who actively roots for a hated rival, or my wife who is overly sympathetic to the point of almost mocking. Having 1% chance of making the playoffs is preferable to where we've been in December most of the past two decades
  23. If anyone actually gave a crap about the legality of weed, no one would have used it since 1937.
  24. The only time you can count on them to win is when it hurts draft position
  25. I would have been okay with Rex being fired at halftime
