  1. I disagree because their issue is not directly work related. Their using their job as a platform for their issue. They have the entire offseason and all of their personal time to speak however and to whomever they please. It’s like trying to save the whales only after clocking in at Burger King. It’s noble and well intentioned, but neither directly correlated to the job performed nor the company that employs you.
  2. If there’s a meme for this board, it’s this
  3. I’m excited to see who comes out on top. All 3 say the right things and seem have what it takes to lead. AJ seems to have a chip on his shoulder and I think he’s the most motivated of the group. He seems to be very aware that this year is his best shot to start. Allen seems unphased by any situation. He handled the expectations and draft day craziness very well. I hope he can handle the blitz as calmly. Whatever you think of Peterman, you have to admit that he is determined.
  4. That seems to be the point of contention. They seem to think that we already had a QB that could get us to the playoffs, a “veteran” backup, and a developmental rookie. It’s as if they found the need to get a QB superfluous.
  5. Week 3 vs Denver checked many boxes for me. My first game in years, the wife’s first NFL game, a ridiculous amount of Broncos fans, the media not giving us a shot, the temperature was near 100 on the visitors side in the sun, Trumps comments about kneeling before the game, and actually coming away with a win was awesome. It seemed to prove that the team was for real. Also the first game Hauschka really impressed. If I could take back anything, it would be to sit on the home side of the stadium, and I probably should have stopped yelling Old Spice related jeers at Von Miller after we had the lead.
  6. Letting him go for nothing was such an unusual move that I was hoping we were dodging some kind of bullet. Unfortunely the previous regimes made terrible personnel moves on the regular and i kind of got used to it. Nice to see us being ahead of the curve for a change
  7. I plug my ears during every mumble rap song to raise awareness of crappy music.
  8. Emotions aside, what how does this move benefit the franchise? Was retaining his bonus money the only benefit?
  9. This. This is the most infuriating part of this whole situation. I would have let him have his bonus if only to keep him away from the Cheatriots for another year. It’s petty, I know. But like Boldin, he’s basically declared his intention to sign with them. And the way he did it was public and insulting.
  10. New QB, new OC, no great WRs picked up in FA. 0-4 seems a lock at this point.
  11. One of my favorite pieces in my man cave (which I’ve since misplaced in a move) was a framed editorial cartoon from the Democrat and Chronicle in which Frank Reich is hiding Jim Kelly’s knee brace. More than a few visitors question it as if it was a slam on Jim Kelly.
  12. The real reason they cut Dez. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2775686-cowboys-wr-cole-beasley-drops-rap-album-the-autobiography
  13. I just think if you’re so good, you shouldn’t/wouldn’t need to. As much as I dislike Brady in my sour grapes way, he doesn’t trash talk and I respect that.
  14. I agree. Shame on you quick witted whippersnappers with your pictures that provide context! And turn down that music!
  15. I remember EJ Manuel’s SportsScience segment was mind blowing and being very hyped. But that was during the drought, this will be different...
  16. Never had ranch living in WNY, then moved South and can’t kick the stuff.
  17. This is yet another planted Patriots non-story in a slow news day. File this one behind “”Is Brady Playing This Season?” and “Gronkowski Seriously Considering Retirement.”
  18. It would HAVE to be for this season because any season after, they wouldn’t be rookies. Still pretty brazen considering AJ’s national champion OC is the current OC. AJ will probably have a considerable leash. Especially since everyone’s plan is to sit Allen.
  19. What really tickles me is how many mock drafts have Allen going number 1. But when we draft him, suddenly he wasn’t good enough.
  20. Peter King seems to think that his affluent upbringing scared some teams away.
  21. The only thing Allen needs to do is be more productive than Tyrod, when called upon, and he’s a success. You’re welcome to measure his inseam and debate the statistics of his wins in beer pong until the season starts. In fact I encourage it. It seems forever until September.
  22. You don’t have to sell me on the bill of rights. I’m all in
