    This 5-3 with Orton felt so similar to 6-2 with Fitz that I didn't leave my heart on the chopping block. I love how this team doesn't let you neglect your family during the holidays by not even remotely approaching the playoffs. Thank you Buffalo.

    3 losses and EJ is back in. Orton is a veteran. Why would he want garbage time? I feel like Orton has already earned his money this season and EJ owes us in man hours. Put him on the dang punt team.

    The odds of the wild card coming out of the AFC North or West are so high, Ricky Williams was jealous. So unless the Pats lose out, it really doesn't seem likely to matter as far as the playoffs are concerned. I say start Orton until we lose then give EJ the rest of the season to try and salvage a career.

    You'll hear a lot of sour grapes on this board, but the truth is Gruden isn't leaving a coushy broadcasting job where his calls aren't second guessed for any coaching job that isn't appealing. Something tells me our rebuild with limited picks next year will woo him.

    The optimist in me is hoping that Hackett is merely keeping all of our best plays hidden from New England since all of our practices are most likely being spied upon

    The last two Syracuse games were on local tv in my area. And watching them this season is comparable to watching the Bills this season. A few cheers, mostly groans

    For an owner who refused to give up control for so long, I just can't believe he wouldn't have overseen the sale personally. It meant the fans twisting in the wind for a while. But in the end, the right person got the team. I'm happy with it.

    If you ask me, yes. No one has a single problem with the Oline even though it's hurt EJ and CJs play.

    I take it you're not a banker. Our Oline couldn't put a block on Watt. They made SD look like the Purple People Eaters. And Suh is licking his chops. You'd better hope EJ can turn it around. Or that Tuel has done some Rocky-like montage training since preseason.

    Well said. Between what the prank call revealing about how Fitz was thought of by the FO, and being asked to restructure his contract was probably too much for him to bear and I don't fault him for feeling slighted. I think the FO cut him almost as an apology.
