Titans Unveil New Uniforms
benderbender replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For those who wondered what it would be like to see an NFL team in an Arena League uniform -
Gronkowski WILL RETIRE per - - -
benderbender replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It wouldn’t surprise me if he caught a case of the Rousey-itis. Where if it’s not easy winning, then why try? Fair competition is hard and grueling. You’ve already made some money and won empty titles. Take the easy route and join the WWE. -
Beane is “Trying Like Hell” To Move Up For a QB
benderbender replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane will wait 24 days to do anything to keep anyone from leapfrogging us. Wake me up Thursday April 26th at 8:59pm -
I live in the area and worked with a guy who ran track against Harvin. He admitted that he never beat him. But the kicker is that his older brother used to run track against Plaxico Burress. His brother didn’t win either. Better than losing to complete nobodies, I guess.

April Fools: Bills trade up with Giants!!
benderbender replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How dare everyone do anything! -
I believe Rex’s quotes were that to trade up would be putting their best foot forward, and that you can't just stick your toe in the water. And that Allen has good feet.

Chances increasing that Gronk will be traded
benderbender replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The smart move would be to move him. He’s constantly injured, makes too much money for his production, and his heart obviously isn’t in football as much as it used to be. The cheaters would probably get a high pick for him by some desperate team. Then I hope he retires and makes them look ridiculous. -
Tyrod is one of the best human beings ever to wear a football uniform. My cousin went to Virginia Tech and hung out with him a multiple times volunteering. He is a good man with a big heart, and said all of the right things a QB should. But like Fitzpatrick, he had already peaked skill-wise. As much as we wished they would improve, they always disappointed.

While we are all rejoicing here.........

He’s just a less reckless RG3 -
THE ERA OF NATE HAS BEGUN
benderbender replied to Wagon Circler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The one thing you can say about Peterman is that he has tenacity. -
I feel the same way about Tyrod as I felt about Fitzpatrick. I rooted for them both. I wanted them to succeed. But they both had already hit their ceiling as far as growth as a QB. Wishing couldn’t make them any better. Both stand up guys in the locker room and good people. I don’t wish either luck, but they both have my respect.

Landry on the block, with the tag
benderbender replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They had a much better chance at a trade before they tagged him now it’s just desperation -
Preston Brown thinks he can help the Patriots
benderbender replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s a free agent talking his name up. I can’t hate him for that. But the Gronk cheap shot without retribution, and no hard feelings towards a team that have beat you regularly really speaks to his sense of commradery. -
Jags win in playoffs, remove tarps and now new uniforms
benderbender replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Glad one of the ugliest uniforms is being retired -
I’ve bookmarked the site for when Bellicheat announces his retirement

What bothered me in particular was him saying the Patriots had taken the lead when they scored a touchdown to tie. In a game when an PAT and FG have been missed, it was counting his eggs too early at best and lazy commentating at the least.

Hate to say it...Tyrod will be back
benderbender replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod is Fitzpatrick: a good guy with great character, but a limited skill set. And hoping for him to suddenly vastly improve his game mid-career is as productive as pissing into the wind. -
If the Bills part ways with Rick Dennison
benderbender replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regardless of what point in the season Dennison realized that his future was even remotely linked to Tyrod’s performance, you would have thought he would have changed the offense to suit his QB’s capabilities. Yes, Tyrod is VERY limited skill wise. Why would Dennison make every gamplan NOT taking that into account? Frank Reich has more common sense. I would love for him to be brought on. -
A friend and fellow Bills fan told me Sunday night that the best thing about making the playoffs is that “now Cowherd HAS to talk about Buffalo.” I told him “not a chance.” I just don’t understand the obsession of some Bills fans for national media acceptance. From Colin Cowherd in particular. It’s my personal opinion he does show prep using major media market numbers and jersey sales as a base. It’s a formula that obviously works for him. Mention certain players and teams despite their relevance to actual news (i.e. the time devoted to discussing Dallas even after they were eliminated). And who am I to tell his millions of listeners he’s wrong? It works. Hell, I listen at times during my commute. Personally, I spend the few dollars to subscribe to Buffalo News and the Democrat and Chronicle just so I don’t have to waste the time of sifting through the Nationally syndicated’s leavings just to get some Bills info. I already own a cat. I do enough poop scooping. The Bills will be national news when they earn it. And it feels as though we’ve turned the corner and that’s not too far off.
