  1. The one thing you can say about Peterman is that he has tenacity.
  2. I feel the same way about Tyrod as I felt about Fitzpatrick. I rooted for them both. I wanted them to succeed. But they both had already hit their ceiling as far as growth as a QB. Wishing couldn’t make them any better. Both stand up guys in the locker room and good people. I don’t wish either luck, but they both have my respect.
  3. They had a much better chance at a trade before they tagged him now it’s just desperation
  4. He’s a free agent talking his name up. I can’t hate him for that. But the Gronk cheap shot without retribution, and no hard feelings towards a team that have beat you regularly really speaks to his sense of commradery.
  5. I love Siemian. He made my anniversary last year by gift wrapping the Denver game for us at the one game I could afford the attend last year. If Tyrod can make him look bad, he’s not the one.
  6. It seems the team and his agent not anywhere near a deal and Miami is hoping to tag him if only to trade him. He’s talented, but he’s a diva. The production never matched the hype despite some good stat games.
  7. Glad one of the ugliest uniforms is being retired
  8. This move is so Washington. Lets franchise the guy we could have had for easily under 20 million 3 years ago, that we’ve paid out the nose for each season since, and expect some dopey team to come along and trade for the massive one year contract. Keep it up!
  9. I’ve bookmarked the site for when Bellicheat announces his retirement
  10. What bothered me in particular was him saying the Patriots had taken the lead when they scored a touchdown to tie. In a game when an PAT and FG have been missed, it was counting his eggs too early at best and lazy commentating at the least.
  11. Tyrod is Fitzpatrick: a good guy with great character, but a limited skill set. And hoping for him to suddenly vastly improve his game mid-career is as productive as pissing into the wind.
  12. I have a high level business meeting by 9 am every morning
  13. Regardless of what point in the season Dennison realized that his future was even remotely linked to Tyrod’s performance, you would have thought he would have changed the offense to suit his QB’s capabilities. Yes, Tyrod is VERY limited skill wise. Why would Dennison make every gamplan NOT taking that into account? Frank Reich has more common sense. I would love for him to be brought on.
  14. A friend and fellow Bills fan told me Sunday night that the best thing about making the playoffs is that “now Cowherd HAS to talk about Buffalo.” I told him “not a chance.” I just don’t understand the obsession of some Bills fans for national media acceptance. From Colin Cowherd in particular. It’s my personal opinion he does show prep using major media market numbers and jersey sales as a base. It’s a formula that obviously works for him. Mention certain players and teams despite their relevance to actual news (i.e. the time devoted to discussing Dallas even after they were eliminated). And who am I to tell his millions of listeners he’s wrong? It works. Hell, I listen at times during my commute. Personally, I spend the few dollars to subscribe to Buffalo News and the Democrat and Chronicle just so I don’t have to waste the time of sifting through the Nationally syndicated’s leavings just to get some Bills info. I already own a cat. I do enough poop scooping. The Bills will be national news when they earn it. And it feels as though we’ve turned the corner and that’s not too far off.
  15. Amen. I’m around the same age as him. I grew up in Rochester and live in Virginia. The stars aligned for me to go to a game this year. And I’m sure a lot of it was just finally being there, but I’ve been telling everyone since that this team this year felt different. That it wouldn’t be just another drought year. Although it was ridiculously close to being one. But god it’s great that it isn’t.
  16. I hope so many Bills fan travel that they’ll have to remove the tarp off of the previously unsold seat sections in their stadium
  17. You don’t need Nostradamus to tell you that ESPN is trimming the fat and winds of change favor making a move for either more money or job security. I think he will take a coaching job. Money over location. Worst case scenario he bombs and takes another commentating job.
  18. The premise is complete BS. Unless there’s an interview with his agent stating that he had offered a team friendly deal to us at any point in his career this is just another woulda coulda shoulda thread that some love to torture themselves with.
  19. I shudder to think what Marino could have done with a run game. Much like our inept front office was NE’s best friend for the past 18 years, MIA’s lack of offensive foresight was our gift in the 90s
  20. Context is hard, right?
  21. It if makes you feel any better, the only way we’ll make the playoffs is by other teams being more incompetent than ours.
  22. I was at the Denver game week 3 and it had to be at least 40% orange jerseys. But they were the most restrained opposing fans I’ve seen considering the 100 degree weather and the relatively few but loud and obnoxiously drunk homers. Something tells me Cheatriot fans aren’t nearly that classy.
  23. While we’re on the subject, how did Seven Nation Army sneak into every kickoff at every football game ever?
