not to mention OBJ is a FA.

With the 20th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select, Graham Barton, OL, Duke. The Steelers have needs at Center, Tackle, and possibly Guard. While Graham can play tackle and played LT exclusively at Duke, and the Steelers plan to move Jones to Left Tackle, Barton could pickup at RT, C, or G if needed and perform at a high level. The Steelers hope to use him at C, but having a guy who can play anywhere on the OL at a high level is what the Steelers need to keep Wilson and Fields upright. @TPS and the Dolphins are now on the clock.

Interesting and detailed Bills Draft visits chart
RyanC883 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
agreed. The hate for Dane is ridiculous. He wasn't a 1st round pick. The guy was a heck of a player for a 7th rounder, and not many teams (if any) have a backup CB that could step up like he did. -
getting a 3rd for him might happen, Bean could perhaps work that. He has flashed great athletic ability and has 2 INTs in the few games he played, including a nice one last post season v. Steelers.

I'd trade up for Thomas, but the suggested trade seems too much. Perhaps omit the 2025 or 2024 pick. I'd also take another WR at 60.

@Virgil happy to take Steelers if still available. If not, will take whoever is left

Report: Micah Parsons act is "wearing thin" in Dallas

didn't Buffalo and Green Bay basically make him invisible? -
interesting WR scenario posed by a friend
RyanC883 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
you are likely correct. The flip side, though, is that we get 2 great WRs this year, and have an offense and D that can compete this year, and use cap space on FA D next year--and we have been mildly better at FA DL than drafting it. Along these lines, I'm in the Thomas/Leggette or Persall camp over costly trade FA WR and 2nd round pick. My ideal situation is trade up for top 3 WR in the draft using next year 1st (which should be low) and draft another WR like Anias Smith or Cowing in Rd. 4. Then fill in with S and OL/DL depth. (we are okay on DL this year, next year is the issue but we have cap space then) -
Who will be the head scratcher pick(s) in the first round?
RyanC883 replied to Sestak4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could see this being Franklin or McConkey. -
today's draft with a trade-up for Nabers. Actually really like this one. Trading up did not kill this years draft. Was able to double up on 2 great WRs, land an impact DT tandem, get a good safety tandem, and IOL help. Also a good Edge prospect.

would fit perfectly with our 90’s Bills teams partying right before the SB

New Buscaglia mock has Bills trading up to 7 for Malik Nabers
RyanC883 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree with wanting great players over good. I think Nabers or Odunze will be elite, and would love one of them. On the other hand, if we can't do it, Mitchell is also great. He has 4 TDs in the CBF for 2 different teams (Texas and Georgia), so he shows up when you really need him, unlike Diggs. Double dipping Mitchell and Franklin or Legette could net two great WRs. Although I'd love a Nabers/Odunze and Washington (WR-VA) combo as well. dude, getting our hopes up! -

although, I'm not sure I'd take Nabers over Odunze, who is 6'3", has a better contested catch percentage, and was a state champ in the 200m. Nabers contested catch % is in the 50s. -

that would be fantastic to land Nabers. Also, as the article indicates, trading our 2025 1st isn't a huge deal if we get a guy like Nabers and do well, it's basically like our second from Minn, which should be a high pick. -
I'd actually be fine with a RB in the 3rd round if the guy could be a stud. Better than a JAG DL or C who you can get later in the draft. Need impact players.

you wanted a dirty player that smells?

Draft Joe Milton QB from Tennessee in 5th (or 6th) round?
RyanC883 replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would def do it. I'd even take the FSU QB in the 4th (some mocks have him there). Get a guy who can show some stuff in preseason, be a capable backup, and parlay that into a higher pick. Pats routinely did this. Agree that Travis from FSU is the better option, but Milton is still worth a pick at that point, IMO. -
Last player to leave in any way that hurt?
RyanC883 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tre White, great guy and teammate who got bit by injury bug. On the other hand, I was a huge Diggs fan but he quit on his team and could not back up his talk when it mattered in the playoffs. good riddence to Dogging it Diggd. -
I won't mind a big move, bit draft wise I’m not sold that anyone other than Harrison is worth more of a move up than it takes for Thomas. I may need to watch some more Malki Nabers and Rome Odenzu highlights.
-
this is where I am at. modest move for Thomas, or Mitchell and some combo of Franklin, Legette, or Polk.
-
yeah, but we prob should have traded him earlier perhaps (prior to last year. although perhaps Kincaid and Shakir not as developed then getting cb1 coverage who knows)?
