  1. I get the soccer point, but I like football more. USA is big enough that we should have more studs in soccer, IMO would have loved to land D Parker. wonder if we tried? Pats basically got him free.
  2. agreed. we need more elite talent that will make the roster and an impact on the field
  3. I thought he was a terrible tackler and pointed at others in the secondary instead of chasing a WR when he blew coverage? I could be thinking of someone else. That said we need a vet corner and if they get him I won’t be upset. Would prefer Hayden if he is still available.
  4. Tyler Smith. The RB’s are solid, but Smith is a great pick here. Will provide the OL with a great T or G for the foreseeable future. The OL is more important than fixing our average RB corp. Smith is the type of guy this Ol needs and will fit in nicely. https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/tyler-smith-2022-nfl-draft-profile-skill-set
  5. really hope we add a vet and draft one in rd 1-3. at some point a cb will be bpa
  6. the OP does make a good point. We have Stevenson and Hodgkins. Yes, they have proven nothing due to the depth of the WR room, but a rookie has proven nothing either (but they were not here). I think the WRs will be taken in the 2nd or 3rd. Really depends on BPA. If that's a WR I'm all for it. I just don't want to reach for anything. I'm cool with CB, IOL, LB, CB, anything at BPA at 25. Don't target a position, there should be a day 1 impact player there. Then trade up in 2nd if you love a specific WR, RB, or CB, and do same in 3rd.
  7. actually, LOVE THIS. And would buy a jersey and helmet. Like, really like this. All you haters, you must be kidding.
  8. not a funny April fools day joke got me for like a minute, I was like, 3 TE sets. Okay, perhaps one as a WR, lets GOOOOO. Then I was like, wait, screw you OP
  9. Oh, close call. I'd take Stingley I think given higher level of competition faced. Also, I think both are better "man" than zone corners (according to something I read), but not sure if that matters.
  10. yep, if we move up I'm thinking it's for a CB that we are specifically targeting. Otherwise, I can't see moving for a WR or OL, or anything else. I more likely see us moving up in Rd. 2. Lots of good, day 1 players should be available at 25, and you could get another by moving up in Rd. 2.
  11. Watson is on Jeremiah's top 50, I think in the top 25. But he has issues with drops according to PFF. We may be able to trade-up in Rd. 2 and grab him. That's what I'd do. BPA Rd. 1 (my pref from what looks available is Zion Williamson or Lindenblum, or one of the WA CBs), and then trade up for WR in Rd. 2 (unless one of the day-one stud WR falls to 25, I like Dotson) Dotson is my fav in Rd. 1 of the ones that may be available. I'd pass on the Alabama guy due to only one year (albeit amazing) college production. Dotson catches the ball anywhere near him and has RAC ability. Can play outside or inside. Seems like the type of player we could move around for a mismatch.
  12. ha, I gave up in my teens in the 1990's.
  13. I'd take them over Peterson!
  14. exactly. there will be increased travel to games because they are inside, wait, nevermind. The whole thing is ill conceived. I don’t live in NYS (Pgh) but this stadium will only serve Buffalo at most late April to October for non-football and the rest of the time is used once a week. that study seems suspect given that Soldier Field is still around. Wrigley, etc.
  15. without a dome to hold events year round the PSL really is less value. Great point about Green Bay, or Bears for that reason. Yeah they renovated, but so did we.
  16. dude clearly wants to play for Jacksonville.
  17. I agree, and think OL is still in play at 25 if it's the BPA and the Rd.1 CBs and WRs are gone. Having a solid line with some continuity would be a huge upgrade for the offense.
  18. @Virgil Thanks for doing this. I'm in. My top 3 are Steelers, Falcons, Colts, but I'll take anyone at the end of the day.
  19. I hope so. otherwise good luck selling PSL season tix
  20. agreed, unless the CB is a stud and the round 1 WR’s are gone, depends how the board falls, but all things equal I’d go WR.
  21. The trust Bean thing at Guard is tough. We drafted Ford, resigned a declining Felaciono, etc. Line was much better with Bates playing last season. Perhaps the plan js to draft G or CB in rd 1 (likely BPa) and fill the other with a vet?
