  1. well, to be fair to Peterson, Diggs smokes most CBs.
  2. Tom Brady’s unretirement sparks call for investigation (msn.com) https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/tom-brady-s-unretirement-sparks-call-for-investigation/ar-AAV5eLJ
  3. good day to you. You clearly do not understand BPA, unless you go off pre draft rankings, which, BTW, had better players listed above both AJ and Basham (CB Kristen Fulton in 2020 over AJ).
  4. Wrong. I have not changed my argument. My argument is that they fell for a reason (which we can see now, and other NFL teams saw), and they were not the BPA at the time they were taken.
  5. two questions here: (1) can he rush the ball/was he asked to. If so, could he surpass Singletary on 1st and 2nd. OR (2) could he be put lined up wide, having Singletary as a back and him as a WR in certain sitautions. Overall, I like what we got, a productive great 3rd down back.
  6. Good addition. Blitz pickup, pass catching 3rd down back. Still need a bruiser for short yardage, hate to keep having JA do that. Moss does not seem to be the answer there. And it looks like Singletary on 1st and 2nd. Perhaps a late round pick?
  7. This is not revisionist history. Also, it does not matter what some analyst on ESPN thinks. These players DROPPED FOR A REASON, and Bean pounced on the falling players both times. Dobbins would have been a better pick than non-factor AJ, and Humphrey a better pick than Basham. Your snarky comment adds little. Falling players are falling for a reason. The proof is in the results. Bean messed up these draft boards, plain and simple. Perhaps we should give Bean a participation trophy for trying?
  8. o and both fell for a reason that Bean/some scout missed. There were some who may have considered them BPA, but Dobbins and Dillion at RB were available when AJ picked, and Gay at LB, and of course Humphry at C with Basham. if they had those guys as BPA their board was messed up. It seemed clear that Bean wanted Edge and just attacked that.
  9. No need for the “you’d have to follow the team and have an adequate memory” garbage. And now we know there was a reason both players fell below their arbitrarily assigned average draft value. Other GM‘s saw this, we didn’t. And neither were BPA when drafted. AJ has shown no signs of improvement, Basham taken over an all pro OL.
  10. should have mentioned the Bills fn steelers.
  11. that would be a mistake. Bean drafting for position over BPA had cost them early in the last few drafts (AJ and Basham come to mind).
  12. yep. need that impact player in C Jones!!
  13. I'd let them all go, get C. Jones and a few draft picks, mid-range FAs.
  14. and hopefully some games early in the season, when the weather is okay!
  15. good points! exactly. We need to be paying impact players, not average players the big money. I'm hoping these cuts/restructures lead to C. Jones, a DT, and another TE.
  16. you think any chance of Chark after McKenzie resigning? I liked Chark coming out, he seems to have fizzled a bit, but he plays in Jax. We def need DT and DE help, and Engram would be another great addition.
  17. how does KC afford all these guys. ??? let everyone else be distracted by him, we can get C. Jones. I'd be fine with him also if he can play DE and still get pressures.
  18. looks like a good guy. one issue we will have with FA OL is that the Bengals have a HUGE need and will likely outbid us if we are interested in the same guys (rumor is they want Cappa, well, and every other FA OL!). That said, we will get a FA OL and hopefully draft someone in Rd 1-2. Some good prospects available it looks like.
  19. no clue, hopefully NYS legalized it and is taxing it. Great way to pay for stadiums, etc. The sports bring in the money, the fans gamble, and stadiums paid for.
  20. sports gambling could pay for it itself. odd it's not legal in NYS, given the ads for it!
  21. I like this. You come in, and don't' live up to the big paycheck, bye bye. A lot of talent that is likely equal to Williams in Rd. 1 and 2 of most mock drafts.
  22. well, at least upstate ny is getting money for something. This is a better expenditure of NYS money that what it usually wastes money on. Also, this is paid for by out of state fans who travel up for games and pay NYS taxes on gas,, lodging, etc. If NYS is smart, it could add a lodging tax on days abutting Bills game days.
  23. what a terrible initial signing if his pay cut puts him in the middle.
  24. or skipping a tryout and having about 1/1000th of Watson’s talent. Tampa makes the most sense for him. But do they have the cap space? Seattle is interesting, with all those draft picks then getting possibly a QB upgrade?
