  1. Which tells you all you need to know about the validity of that formula.
  2. Look for the camp headline news on August 16, "Bills and Steeler Tussle At Camp"
  3. That's awesome. Enjoy the sea and stay safe.
  4. What got me, Don: "Now located in Beaufort SC, keeping the boat at Ladies island marina, my wife is the new Dock Master there, the new engine is installed in our sailboat, and we have become weekend sailors for the present, we will be heading to the Bahamas next year." Good for you. I'm envious.
  5. Did you send this to them? Surely, they will want to correct themselves and offer a public apology once they get the facts.
  6. Well, he's certainly not an edge rusher anymore. So that is about right.
  7. Well, 2024 Dion is better than 2017 Dion.
  8. Hopefully, Von attended
  9. "Von Miller ready to prove the critics wrong" --> We can only hope.
  10. I'm hoping Claypool in the WR room (offense), and I believe Mike Edwards will excel in the McDermott Safety-centric defense.
  11. Harbaugh and Tomlin should NOT be on this list. Ryans had one good year—a great start—but I think you need more evidence than one year to make any kind of determination.
  12. That's fair. As for AFC teams, until proven otherwise, KC is at the top; after them, I think the Bills, Bengals, and Ravens are the top challengers--in any order. Each has its warts, but all three are built to compete with anyone on any given day. After those three, the next tier includes the Dolphins, Texans, and maybe the Chargers and Jaguars. Then I see the Jets, Browns, Titans, or Steelers--any two of them rounding out the top ten. It is still not a scientific or quantitative analysis. But purely (or un-purely?) by anecdotal, recent history bias (what have they done lately/), and just "gut feelings." That's the best I can offer.
  13. I have only one objective criterion = Number 17
  14. I say 5-8, but near the top two spots, 5 or 6. Record: 11-6 AFC East Champs again 3 seed in the AFC playoffs
  15. I got it. Thanks for setting me straight. But the one question I have always had about this situation, with the depth of research and digging into a draft prospect's past (remember the racial slur from Josh Allen when he was, like, 16?) is how could the Bills have not known something was up or happened at SD St.? The school had investigated it. I find it hard to believe they were really "blindsided" when it came out. They may have been quite embarrassed and chagrin, but blindsided???? I doubt it.
  16. He should be a Bill. The Bills should have brought him back once the charges were dropped. But maybe they tried, and he did not want to return. ????
  17. Not yet. But if he makes Shaw's top-five list, we'll be in great shape for several years (I would say four more like last year).
  18. Hahaha! => "But, since most fans of opposing teams just like to point at turnover numbers, I'll give them a few more numbers to point at since they'll be too busy eating boogers to do the research for themselves." That is a well-crafted line. This could get him in the running for a Pulitzer.
  19. It's always fun to go to Miami, especially later in the season when it's getting cold up north. Plus, it is almost always a pro-Bills crowd.
  20. It's not Aaron we can't stand; it's the Jets and their annoying fanbase. And the NYC press, who are as delusional as their fans.
  21. Coach: No contest, Rex! On game day and any other day, he opened his mouth. Player: Von (or Aaron Maybin--but I like Aaron as a person, just not as a player); they are one and the same on the field. But both look great coming off the bus. Nor is it a good formula for an NFL receiver.
  22. I think this is the year for him. At least, I hope that for him--and us.
  23. When I read the title of the thread, I thought, "Novel idea. Is the NFL going to experiment with allowing teams to somehow punt with their arms like a backyard volleyball serve?" The actual subject of the thread disappointed me.
  24. Well, they are, they do.
  25. The Spencer Brown surgery explains the Colling pickup. It's an insurance policy, for sure.
