  1. Guess Frazier isn't going to get that interview.
  2. As I read it, only HC's can be blocked, everyone else is fair game. Even Coordinators can't be blocked.
  3. Original Bills Fan here since 1960. Veteran of the Rockpile end zone. Have a 41 year old son who's been a Bills fan since he was in diapers.
  4. Charley Weis is available, doubt he would leave Florida for the 716, fun to listen to every morning.
  5. Just thinking he's a very experienced OC and worked wonders with Cam, and has a history with McBeane.
  6. Not according to this. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl-teams-can-no-longer-block-assistant-coaches-from-interviewing-for-coordinator-positions-191317600.html
  7. Lived through that. Cookie was a better runner between the tackles, [and on bad fields - The Derrick Henry of his day] but Brown was also a deadly weapon in the passing game. Bills probably would have been in the first Superbowl. Saban traded Cookie to Denver, because he couldn't control Cookie, then did one of his multiple quits in anger. Joel Collier was an all-world DC, but not a head coach. We also stupidly let Lamonica go to Oakland and kept Kemp with eroding skills. the 1966 defense was rock solid and basically the same defense as the two AFL championship teams. Interestingly Lamonica was from Clovis California, also in the central valley of california, an hour from firebaugh, and was a big strong quarterback with great arm talent.
  8. Cringe, but Mike Shula has a history with McBeane. He's currently a QB coach, so would be tough to block him from a coordinator's job interview. He did coach Cam to a Superbowl, and Josh is a smarter Cam with a better arm. Just saying.
  9. Oh yes he was. Davis was the number-one pick in the 1962 NFL Draft on December 4, 1961.[13] Selected by the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) in December 1961,[14] he was then almost immediately traded to the Cleveland Browns and issued number 45.[15] He was also drafted two days earlier by the Buffalo Bills of the American Football League.[16]
  10. I can see the kicking game being affected. Suspect the kickers and punters will be doing a fair number of reps in warmups. Could see a lot of 4th and 3 plays if they are going against the wind. Wish we were better on 4th down plays, just saying.
  11. Did Aaron Rodgers ever win Angry Runs??? Aaron is 6-2, Josh is 6-5. Just saying.
  12. See above, steelers go into cap jail...
  13. solution to the play clock to zero is a chip in the ball. If the chip moves after the play clock hits zero, delay of game. chips weigh less than 1/10 of an ounce. electronic signals move at the speed of light, clock operator will know if the ball moved before or after zero.
  14. Blue shirts White pants at home [1964 champs] White shirts White pants on the road [1965 champs]. Go Bills. would love to see a standing Buffalo Helmet.
  15. Williams > Yeldon on 3rd and 2 or less.
  16. Basically every guy on an NFL roster is >= to any Alabama college player.
  17. Tua is 6-1 219, 4.9 40. Josh is 6-5 240 4.7 40. Bigger faster stronger....
  18. So who does McDermott use as a spy on Jackson? Edmunds, Milano, Poyer, Hyde? Thoughts?
  19. Actually 5. Laramie weather makes the OP look like a walk in the park.
  20. Who has more bad weather games, Josh? [2 years in Laramie, 3 in the OP] or Lamar, who has never played in snow. Just Saying
  21. Brady has a Gronk. Mahomes has a Kelce. Rodgers has Tonyan - 11 TD's. Yup Josh needs a great tight end. Not sure Knox is the guy. Knox had under 300 yards and 3 TD's with the best QB arm in the league. Thomas had 72 catches, 670 yards and 6 td's with a collection of rag arm QB's.
  22. I really think Daboll and Frazier need to watch the 1991 Superbowl and find a way to equalize time of possession. If that can happen, we score on anyone.
  23. And we still scored 27 points, enough to win giving up 10 minutes of time of possession....
  24. I think that we may have the RB in Williams if his fumbling issues are cured. Would love a big basher like Henry but they are rare specimens, and Josh averages far more yards per play than most RB's
  25. While i realize that it's a stretch, we need to get Josh a big TE target. Not sure Knox is Kelce level. Josh needs a Kelce/Gronk level tight end, apparently we had one [Logan Thomas] and let him get away because we weren't patient.
