Just thinking, if JJ is going to sign for reasonable money, why would'nt he join his bro in the Steel City, they could call it the "mega watt" defense.

Brown activated from Covid list

Smoke's official time is 4.34 I believe. -
If we got JJ and Hughes has one more good year left, nice combo, Star will help at the 1 tech, moving Ed Oliver to his natural 3 tech disruptor, Horrible Harry subbing for both. Will Josh's agent allow him to take a "hometown discount".

Truthfully the Epenesa penalty was probably unavoidable, he was going for the sack/big hit on the QB and was a microsecond late. Yes it was a high hit, but how many times has Allen been hit like that this year with nothing called. NFL really needs to understand that 280 pound people at 15 mph, can't always exactly hit the QB in the perfect place, esp when said QB ducks when about to be hit.

Brown is 6 yards faster than Diggs on a fifty yard throw, 10 yards faster than Davis. Just saying, have seen a bunch [know I'm old] Lamonica type bombs from Josh that Brown would probably at least got his hands on... -
Original Bills fan here since 1960. Love these bills. Only concern is other than an aging Hughes, not seeing any Bruce Smith, C-Biscuit, Talley level players in our front 7 yet. [Milano could be but seems to be hurt a lot] Think we have three pro-bowl secondary players in Tre White, Poyer, and Hyde, but still concerned about a good running team running through our gut.

And with McBeane - don't rule out the special teams aspect, nice to have people ready to hit as the ball is being caught. Best special teams for Bills teams in I can't remember and I go back to day 1. -

Nelson is 4.28, Brown is 4.34 Stills is 4.38 Tyreek is a 4.29 for reference. How many times has josh out thrown his open receiver on go routes this year.... -

4.28 would make him the fastest player on the roster [Taiwan "stone hands" Jones] is a 4.33. Josh being able to force the defense to be honest with the long ball is a scary prospect. Diggs 4.46 got over the top last week and went to the house. Gabe Davis 4.54 did a couple of times, but was a step slow. If he can play teams, would make our punt and KO coverage teams that much better. -
Daboll has been part of success at every stop and is a imaginative and unpredictable play caller. Jordan Palmer has worked on a lot of stuff, but he has also worked with Mahomes, Darnold and a host of others. I really think Ken Dorsey's contribution is underestimated. He was one of the most successful college QB's ever to play the game [surrounded by a great cast; e.g. Frank Gore]. He has been patient with Josh, and we can see the growth.

Josh has the physical skills, size, speed, arm talent, few have; combined with coaching from Dorsey, and Daboll; & getting him some receiving talent. His general, "I'm gonna prove I can play with any one" attitude. Add in a bit of farm boy; "no work is too hard" mentality doesn't hurt either. He's almost as big as Big Ben, faster, better arm, unlike the guy in Tampa, his mobility gives the OC a lot of options, No disrespect to Mahomes, who has a better supporting cast, but what Josh has done this season is mind boggling. Just imagine if Josh had a Kelce/Gesicke type Tight End.

Unlimited PS elevations for playoffs

McBeane and Fromm all deserve credit for "keeping their powder dry" can't have been easy on Fromm all season having to be isolated, but at least we have an option if there was a major COVID outbreak. -
For the first time since the K-Gun era, we have two competent tackles, plus Lee Smith is essentially another tackle [guy must weigh 290]. I think last week was a carefully plotted couple of play calls to mess with DC minds. If we do a max pass rush, and Smith slips out, oops.
