  1. Actually the Line Judge is the son and grandson of 30 year NFL officials and his uncle works as an NFL Official as well. The family sideline business it would seem. From what I can determine he was on the golf team at Villanova and works in tech, and has reffed in the Big Ten.
  2. I think the Bills will do well to study what BB did vs. the Fish. Fish only scored 24, and their defense is not as good as their offense. Bills do need to clean up their rushing defense as Mostert has scary speed, and as always figure out a way to keep Hill under control. Hopefully Dorsey has been saving some of the playbook for this game, I suspect the winner will put up somewhere in the 30's.
  3. Brett Bergman is the 4th member of his family to be an NFL official, grandfather [Jerry], Dad [Jeff] was a 30 year official and Uncle Jerry Jr. have all been NFL officials.
  4. Leading rusher for last 5 superbowl winners: 2023: Kansas City Chiefs Pacheco, Isaiah 830 2022: Los Angeles Rams Michel, Sony 845 2021: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fournette, Leonard 812 2020: Kansas City Chiefs Williams, Damien 498 2019: New England Patriots Michel, Sony 938 2018: Philadelphia Eagles Blount, LeGarrette 766
  5. And I've seen WR's in this league get the second foot in on throws like the pass ruled OB in the endzone.
  6. This week will probably be the proof of this train of thought. Fish are currently the top running team @ 6.1 ypc, Suspect this is because teams are selling out to stop the passing game. Only team in the league with 2 backs over 200 yards this season, and their top 3 backs [Mostert, Achane, Brooks] have all broken runs of 40 or more yards. Mostert, & Achane, run sub 4.4, and Brooks is a Murray type [232#] thumper.
  7. Just noticed that pending tonight's games, James Cook is #2 in the NFL, #1 in the AFC in rushing. Averaging 89 yards per game. Swift from the Iggles could pass him with a 90+ yard game.
  8. Looking at WTF Snap counts, seems like they play a lot of dime. 3 CB's and 3 Safeties are in their top 11 defensive snap counts. Wonder how Dorsey will attack that. Seems they want to pressure the passer and blanket the receivers. Big question is can we run against that front?
  9. I'll take the Bills to continue the process. Bills 27 WFT 16
  10. When we run 12, it seems a lot of the time Kincaid is playing a "big slot" role, that will put the blocking load on Knox.
  11. I remember going to Beaver Island a lot as a kid, and thought it was a nice beach for being on a river.
  12. Commanders have won two close games against two of arguably the worst teams in the league, Arizona +4 and Denver +2. Bills need to play like they did against the Raiders.
  13. Fitzpatrick spent last night in the hospital....
  14. PFR says Ford played 13 snaps on D and Settle played 14. Vegas only ran the ball 15 times, so interior DL tackles were limited to begin with. After the jet sweep on the opening drive, Raiders gained 21 rushing yards on 14 carries, one of which was Garropolo's 1 yd sack avoidance.
  15. 17 by my count.
  16. Since that Vegas drive on the opening kickoff, this is a 31-3 whupping.
  17. I think it was Spencer Brown and no TE help.
  18. Kincaid got extra yards that time.
  19. Shakir was falling down and somehow got to the end zone
  20. Yes but Groot def gets the assist on the Int.
  21. well that opening drive was an embarrassing display of Defense.
  22. All-rookie team players available when we drafted Elam Karlaftis - DL Linderbaum - OL Devin Lloyd - LB Jalen Pitre - S Ken Walker III - RB
  23. Spencer Brown, needs to slow down Crosby. If he can't game plan goes out the window.
