  1. When the Bills go 2 TE's 2 WR's 1 RB, doesn't Kincaid effectively replace the slot? We do need a legit #2 who can take the top off of a defense and catch the deep ball. How the Bills pay for one is a different matter
  2. Am I remembering that Brady was the passing game guru when Burrow and LSU won the national championship. Think Chase and Jefferson were the wide outs.
  3. Should we be concerned that Ed Oliver could be next? He has 5 fines this season, three unsportsmanlike, 1 hit on QB, 1 Unnecessary roughness.
  4. If the Commanders clean house at the end of the season, I suspect Bieniemy will be a Rooney Rule interviewee for a bunch of OC jobs.
  5. Don't forget how the O-Line Imposed their will at the LOS. Schnowman driving a 6-5 240 linebacker backwards for 20+ yards.
  6. Dallas would say that they missed the Diggs fumble.
  7. People make such a big deal on the "brotherly shove", Josh moves the pile on his own.
  8. 11/26/78, the 4-9 Bills beat the Joe Pisarcik led Giants 41-17, Bills had 366 on the ground on 49 carries, Terry Miller ran for 208 and Roland Hooks for 115.
  9. Even tho it means we win the AFC East and get a home playoff game this year, get the Chiefs at our place in 2024?
  10. I think the key is Miami faltering between injuries and their past history in December. Their injury list as of this morning is formidable to say the least. Fish OL is as banged up as any in the league, which could limit the quick passing game. They have a difficult schedule, always have trouble with the Jets, Play two heavyweights in Dallas and at Baltimore, then our Bills in Week 18. Winning out would be helpful for our guys.
  11. Cooks, Gilmore, Parsons all expected to play for Dallas, despite missing time during the week with unspecified illness - per Ian Rapoport
  12. Cowboys have played 13 games - 9 in domes, Game time temp for other four - @ Giants - 74, @ SFO 78, @ Eagles 64, @ Panthers 65. FWIW
  13. Make fumbling the ball into the end zone that goes out of bounds/over then end line - a penalty [5?, 10?, 15? yards] from the spot of the fumble on the team that had possession before the fumble. The fumbling team keeps the ball, but are backed up from the goal line a bit.
  14. Watching the replay, I see that they called Josh "In the Grasp" on a completion, but when Mahomes is grabbed by a defender in the last series, and flings the ball, it's an incomplete pass. Another area where officials are inconsistent.
  15. Yeah Bills don't have enough tiebreakers to make it with 7 losses, 11-6 or bust is the only way I see them making the playoffs.
  16. With losing his center Williams for the year, the guy who calls pass protections, and just happened to be the top rated center in the league when he got hurt. that's a significant downgrade to his O-Line. Do teams start upping the pressure on Tua, esp with Cheetah at less than 100%.
  17. Brown has played 99.7% of the offensive snaps, is graded in the top half of tackles in the league and his cap hit is $1.2MM. You have a quarterback with an $18MM Cap hit [scheduled to be $48MM next year], you have 3 guys with a combined cap hit of $32MM on IR. Our capologist better be a wizard. Of the 7 current playoff teams, Chiefs, Jags, Browns, & Steelers all have starting tackle sets ranked below Dawkins and Brown.
  18. Once Gilmore left us - doubtful he would ever return, esp when he was desired by the wealthiest franchise in the game.
  19. I ran the NY Times simulator, picking current team with better W-L for all but the Bills games, from what I see, Bills have to win out to get a WC, otherwise they need a LOT of help. This week is major, and have to beat Miami in Wk18.
  20. That throw to Murray as he's airborne moving backwards out of bounds was something I'm not sure any other QB in the league could pull off.
  21. Anyone think the two back to back holding calls on our tackles after the Murray "catch" were scripted?
  22. The players union will have to agree to 18 games. That will probably require either expanded rosters and/or practice squads, and a larger salary cap and it's doubtful the union will settle for a mere 1/17 (5.9%) increase in the cap to allow this massive revenue generator for the owners.
  23. And who do Moss, Ford and Singletary play for these days? 4/7 on this list isn't a great draft record, esp since this board has been fairly unhappy with Brown for the past three season.
  24. The two referee crews that have had neither team this season are Rogers and Torbert. Will be interesting to see if either one of those has the game
  25. The blocked kick was a great play by Jalen Carter - tough to blame that one on Bass, didn't see any snafu's on the kick.
