Singular point imo when Josh started regressing
BearNorth replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tua has Cheetah and Waddle Hurts has AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and the best O Line in football Mahomes has Kelce and a top 3 oline and the best offensive mind in football as a head coach. We have Allen, Diggs [who does not scare defenses like Cheetah, Waddle, Brown, Bengals trio] and an O-line in the BOTTOM third of the league. -
BTW anyone notice that the #10 ranked guard in PFF is none other than Greg Van Roten [who will be coming to Buffalo on Sunday]. Really beginning to wonder about our ability to evaluate OL.
-
Which poor offensive line sprung Breece Hall for 26 and 83 yard runs [127 rushing yards on 10 carries] against our D, coordinated by our HC.

16-3 lead 9:50 left. Nick Chubb = cheat code

Speculation and discussion on Bills final roster cuts
BearNorth replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coaching perhaps? It should be noted in the Chiefs 13 second game, Tre White was on IR, does the Hill TD happen if he's available? -
Speculation and discussion on Bills final roster cuts

Last year by the end of the season, Miller and Hyde were on IR. Poyer was nicked up all year, and Milano at times. I think any defense who is has missing/diminished stars will struggle. -

uStadium twitter site has Shaq Lawson as a cut. Hmm -
Pretty sure they have Milano with the green dot.

But that happened after he joined the Bills, Talley got on him and got him to train properly [and apparently Carmen [his college counselor and eventual wife helped]]

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1
BearNorth replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know we are close to being in cap "jail" but after Kyle Allen's performance on Saturday, should we be kicking the tires on Wentz? I don't think Matty Ice fits the Bills offense with his lack of mobility. Those are the only two FA QB's that have done anything. -
Bills release first official depth chart of 2023
BearNorth replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wondering if with our strength at d-line and decent depth at DB if we don't do a lot of 4-1-6 [dime ] with Milano at the LB spot, and possible two of our big nickels [Rapp and T Johnson] covering for the absence of talent at MLB. I'm seeing mock 53's with White, Elam, Johnson, Jackson, Benford, Ingram, Hyde, Poyer, Rapp, Hamlin & Lewis all making the roster. -
Wonder if Hochul's husband leaving Delaware North is somehow connected?

Jim Brown held the Long Island HS scoring record in basketball, averaging 38 ppg, later broken by a Carl Yastrzemski.

Four roster needs the Bills still must address
BearNorth replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get the feeling the brain trust thinks Kincaid may be just that and he's a size mismatch for most DB's if he lines up in the slot. -
Bates also got a pretty hefty contract when he used to RFA tag to his advantage. He is also our highest rated guard, including McGovern. With the shortage of quality guards, and Morse's advancing age, he's still a bargain.

I'm old enough to remember an UDFA tight end who weighed around 330 who the Bills picked up. Likely will be a first ballot HOF'r.

"We can't get an impact WR in the 2nd round"
BearNorth replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since he posts WR numbers in terms of catches and TD's, Kelce was a third-rounder, probably the best tight end in league history. -
Or your kicker who has hit 10-15 from that range during the season, misses a 47 yarder that would have won a Super Bowl.

Some of us were around in 1964 and 1965 when the Bills won the title they were competing for. Just saying.

Hyatt was on Sirius NFL Channel this afternoon. I feel the need for speed.

Is post-injury Tre White going to be as good as pre-injury Tre white? Esp with the WR's we face, Buffalo draws 13 of the top 20 receivers in the league, including every All-Pro other than Jefferson [and Diggs]. After the Hamlin game and the Mia & Cinci playoff games I came away thinking our secondary cannot handle the top wideouts in this league, esp with a meh pass rush.

Not at 9.7% drops to targets. KC as a whole was 5.5% drops, Bills were 6.9%. Three games lost by three points, wonder if one more catch in any of those three and we are home throughout the playoffs. Even worse, Davis, McKenzie, Motor, Cook and Shakir as a group had 26 drops in 262 targets. Everyone else [mainly DIggs and Knox] had 12 drops in 289 targets. Davis, Cook, and Shakir better spend every spare moment working on catching the ball.
