  1. Those first two drives, against New England, Edmunds was auditioning for the bull ring in Madrid - several "ole'" plays. The Cam TD was a blatant tackle by the O on the D tackle, but Frazier made the adjustments.
  2. For reference, Marquise Goodwin, Olympian and former Bill ran a 4.27 at 5-9 185.
  3. Just thinking, if JJ is going to sign for reasonable money, why would'nt he join his bro in the Steel City, they could call it the "mega watt" defense.
  4. If we got JJ and Hughes has one more good year left, nice combo, Star will help at the 1 tech, moving Ed Oliver to his natural 3 tech disruptor, Horrible Harry subbing for both. Will Josh's agent allow him to take a "hometown discount".
  5. Wonder if Star had played this year, if Edmunds would not have been as exposed. Milano is the "speed" LB, Edmunds is the "plugger", no Star means a lot more traffic in Edmunds zone.
  6. Truthfully the Epenesa penalty was probably unavoidable, he was going for the sack/big hit on the QB and was a microsecond late. Yes it was a high hit, but how many times has Allen been hit like that this year with nothing called. NFL really needs to understand that 280 pound people at 15 mph, can't always exactly hit the QB in the perfect place, esp when said QB ducks when about to be hit.
  7. Brown is 6 yards faster than Diggs on a fifty yard throw, 10 yards faster than Davis. Just saying, have seen a bunch [know I'm old] Lamonica type bombs from Josh that Brown would probably at least got his hands on...
  8. Original Bills fan here since 1960. Love these bills. Only concern is other than an aging Hughes, not seeing any Bruce Smith, C-Biscuit, Talley level players in our front 7 yet. [Milano could be but seems to be hurt a lot] Think we have three pro-bowl secondary players in Tre White, Poyer, and Hyde, but still concerned about a good running team running through our gut.
  9. Beasley is 5-8 174, now hurt and runs a 4.49.
  10. And with McBeane - don't rule out the special teams aspect, nice to have people ready to hit as the ball is being caught. Best special teams for Bills teams in I can't remember and I go back to day 1.
  11. Nelson is 4.28, Brown is 4.34 Stills is 4.38 Tyreek is a 4.29 for reference. How many times has josh out thrown his open receiver on go routes this year....
  12. 4.28 would make him the fastest player on the roster [Taiwan "stone hands" Jones] is a 4.33. Josh being able to force the defense to be honest with the long ball is a scary prospect. Diggs 4.46 got over the top last week and went to the house. Gabe Davis 4.54 did a couple of times, but was a step slow. If he can play teams, would make our punt and KO coverage teams that much better.
  13. Daboll has been part of success at every stop and is a imaginative and unpredictable play caller. Jordan Palmer has worked on a lot of stuff, but he has also worked with Mahomes, Darnold and a host of others. I really think Ken Dorsey's contribution is underestimated. He was one of the most successful college QB's ever to play the game [surrounded by a great cast; e.g. Frank Gore]. He has been patient with Josh, and we can see the growth.
  14. Interesting I just looked up the combine, Josh is almost 3" taller, heavier, has bigger hands, faster, more athletic [better vertical and broad] than Mahomes, and same time in the 3 cone, so just as agile. All he needs to do is win it all.
  15. Josh has the physical skills, size, speed, arm talent, few have; combined with coaching from Dorsey, and Daboll; & getting him some receiving talent. His general, "I'm gonna prove I can play with any one" attitude. Add in a bit of farm boy; "no work is too hard" mentality doesn't hurt either. He's almost as big as Big Ben, faster, better arm, unlike the guy in Tampa, his mobility gives the OC a lot of options, No disrespect to Mahomes, who has a better supporting cast, but what Josh has done this season is mind boggling. Just imagine if Josh had a Kelce/Gesicke type Tight End.
  16. Just never let Jones, who is the fastest guy [yes faster than smoke] on a pretty fast team ever go out for a pass unless on ST. That drop had me throwing the remote.
  17. Sounds like cutting Kumerow was a front office "oops". And Jake played special teams. Duke for a week? or longer if Beasley is a DNP, big body and target.
  18. And with contracts, salary cap, etc. how many QB's play for a whole career with the same team. Brees was a Chargers castoff for example. Brady has changed teams, Favre changed teams, Steve Young changed teams.
  19. would really love for the TV analytics guys to tell us the 'real world speed' on some of these Josh throws. They are like lasers through the heart of the defense.
  20. Buffalo weather Sunday 1/3. 50% chance of snow, temp 32-37 degrees, wind off the lake. Tua might not ever come out of the locker room.
  21. Say what you want, Josh has arguably the best arm talent the league has ever seen. In year 3, his mechanics might still not be perfect, but some of these throws, no one, including Mahomes can make.
  22. McBeane and Fromm all deserve credit for "keeping their powder dry" can't have been easy on Fromm all season having to be isolated, but at least we have an option if there was a major COVID outbreak.
