    Wonder if some of our DE's issues getting gashed are scheme related, we usually only play nickel, and Milano is often looking to defend the TE on obvious passing downs

    Last season he played 692 snaps, this year 41 between Buf and Tampa. I did notice Tampa had him playing special teams, wonder if that had something to do with him leaving there.

    I have a feeling that Fitzmagic will be doing color before long, and will soon become the best color person on any network. Guy just thinks at a different speed than most humans.

    Yeah, I was looking at their injury reports from Sunday's game and last week. They have 14 players that were/are out, doubtful, questionable. Their QB, OT, RB, and WR positions are all dinged up and down to third stringers in some of those cases.

    I would think they could fashion a chest protector similar to what Josh wears without impeding his mobility or coverage speed. The flak jacket hasn't slowed Josh down to any extent.

    He actually has nearly 100 more snaps than Diggs, which is interesting, with his 50% catch to target ratio.

    Some of us may be forgetting that the Bills win vs. the Dolphins in Buffalo was really a 7 point win. Motor took a strategic knee at the Miami four with an open path to the end zone to prevent a repeat of 13 seconds or HomeRunThrowback. I suspect he was coached up about that very situation.

    I too am bemused by all the negativity. Glad to see another Bear in these woods.

    FWIW Excluding each other, Bills and Dolphins played 11 common opponents Bills in those 11 games were 9-2, Dolphins were 7-4. Bills point differential in common games was +91. Bills had a larger margin of victory in 8 of the 11 games.

    Kuechly was taller [6-3 to 6-0], faster[4.58 - 4.67], stronger [27 reps vs. 24] than Cookie. Kuechly averaged over 9 tackles per game for his career, vs. <6 for Milano.

    Knox's year was impacted by Saffold and Brown needing extra blocking help. He was probably the best tight end in our division and top 5 in the AFC. Third in the AFC in TD's by a tight end.

    I do wonder if the brain trust is cooking up getting Smoke and Hines on the field at the same time. That's a couple of 4.3 guys.

    Only slightly bigger [1,029 seats] than Beaver Stadium at Penn State. I'm sure the Bills owner could make Penn State happen.

    We also played Detroit, Minny & Chicago - 3 of the 4 lowest ranked defenses.

    One thing to consider before we send Davis "up in Smoke", he's probably our best run blocker among the WR group.

    I thought either his arm got hit or the ball was tipped. Cook had just come open. Josh had all sorts of white jerseys around him.

    The one to Smoke Brown was not far behind, considering Josh was fully on the move when he made the throw.

    And when Knox is out for a route, Josh is usually scrambling because Spencer Brown usually needs help from a TE.
