  1. Awesome! Have to love that our trash talkin' QB found himself a trash talkin' gal...
  2. I wonder if the sailor hat retired with him...
  3. EJ Manual Robert Woods Kiko Alonso Marquise Goodwin Duke Williams Jonathan Meeks Dustin Hopkins Chris Gragg Sammy Watkins Cyrus Kouandjo Preston Brown Ross Cockrell Cyril Richardson Randell Johnson Seantrel Henderson Ronald Darby John Miller Karlos Williams Tony Steward Nick O'Leary Dezmin Lewis Shaq Lawson Reggie Ragland Adolphus Washington Cardale Jones Jonathan Williams Kolby Listenbee Kevon Semour Those are the draft picks Monos was a part of with Whaley before McDermott was in the building. Not a lot of hits on that list. Seems like it's easier to talk about someone else's work than it is to do the job yourself.
  4. I dunno, when Reggie Bush left the Bills he had fewer rushing yards than what he started with. 😆
  5. Huh... I thought it was established at the NFL awards ceremony that he LOOKS like Nikki Glaser?
  6. Apparently he let slip in his end of season pressor that he was dealing with elbow and shoulder injuries and that Penix replacing him was because he wasn't able to deal with the pain of it any longer. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43691382/falcons-kirk-cousins-says-shoulder-elbow-injuries-affected-play
  7. For the last time I'm not a mod, I have no control of when or why you get banned and if you don't stop PM'ing me naked pictures of yourself I'm going to file a restraining order!!
  8. Sure, it’s nice that Slick Rick got a shout out and all during the acceptance speech… but what about the fans!?!? 🤬 Allen!!!! (humor; for those that weren’t sure)
  9. I mean, technically, winning is the opposite of losing. 🤷‍♂️
  10. I personally believe that Beane has more autonomy the further they get into the draft. In the early rounds, unfortunately, I always feel he's drafting for need with someone looking over his shoulder. IMO, that's how they ended up with Elam after McDuffie came off the board.
  11. Did Mrs. Yolo back you up on that with a little side eye and a "got that right?"
  12. The refs could have resorted to the way they called the Texans-Chiefs game and kept throwing phantom personal fouls, roughing the passer, and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties on the Eagles defense to slow their pass rush since the Chiefs themselves couldn't.
  13. I think the outcry after the Bills and Texans games by the football watching universe resulted in the refs being put under a microscope for this game. Amazing what an evenly officiated game can do for a team.
  14. Jimi Hendrix didn't sing a word and it was iconic.
  15. A bit better with the ax falling on Guy Smiley… Not as “in the moment” angry, but time has done nothing to lessen my desire to see Jalen Carter tear Mahomes’s arm off and beat Kelce senseless with it…
  16. Super Bowl LIX... more like Super Bowl SUX
  17. meh, his demise would still make me say Points for the fact that he seems genuinely amused by the "bildo" incident, though.
  18. Not taking away from April as a coach but they also dedicated significant cap space and personnel to ST on some otherwise pretty talent devoid teams when he was the coordinator. Don't want to see them do that again...
  19. The Eagles fan's husband must not be much of a football fan if he can't appreciate her position on this. She should say **** him and watch the game how she wants to. If the Bills had made it my wife wanted to go to NOLA (she's from there, and we still have a place there) for the game. If we did, I was going to watch it alone and then celebrate or wallow in public afterwards... and she completely understood that.
  20. The Ravens were 3-5 when Derrick Henry was held under 100 yds, including against the Bills in the playoffs. Lamar wasn’t so fantastic when he had to carry the load himself… hard to justify giving someone an MVP under those circumstances.
  21. I think McDermott runs a system on defense and Beane gets players for him to fit that system, and I believe that’s the direction that decision making follows. Beane’s major failing is that they haven’t drafted or signed someone who can consistently get pressure (was supposed to be Von), and they haven’t been able to find the second coming of Luke Kuechly (was supposed to be Edmunds), who made McDermott’s defense what it was in Carolina. Both are hard to find, and they’re the missing pieces that doom the Bills defense against elite teams. I agree with people who point out that the Bills too often look for position over bpa at the top of the draft, but I wonder how much of that is Beane and how much is at McDermott’s directive. Beane tends to do better in lower rounds, so it’s not like he and his scouts can’t identify talent, it’s more likely that there’s less combined decision making and more freedom.
  22. When I think of "elite", I think of someone who has the ability to take over a game. Think Von Miller in his prime before the second ACL. That is a short list of Bills currently, imo. Allen, Cook... maybe Milano before his spate of recent injuries, but not this season... you could maybe make a case for Dawkins on the OL, but I don't think of them as individually dominant so much as I think of them collectively as a dominant unit this season until the KC game... none of our DL currently fits that bill, none of our LBs this season... maybe Benford, but I don't think of him as the type of player that just shuts down his side of the field, and certainly no one else in our secondary fits that description.
  23. Meh... he was not a leader of men, he preferred to follow
  24. They had to kill 3 1/2 minutes… maybe they should have been blocking for Cook? 🤔
  25. And probably also as a gesture of appreciation to get him a ring in the event they made it and won.
