  1. Actually, until the Dolphins beat a playoff caliber team, this scenario is more probable than the one with the Bills winning out and missing the playoffs.
  2. 🤔 You could argue that technically the right time would have been a game sooner to avoid scenarios like the one fueling this thread… 🤷‍♂️😂
  3. Right… can’t wait for the season to begi… oh, crap. 🤦‍♂️
  4. Agree. Bills need to leapfrog 2 teams, and a loss by Houston accomplishes one of those, and a loss by the Bengals accomplishes the other. Browns gotta lose 2 for the Bills to pass them. Also, Colts and Texans play head to head to end the season. So if the Texans get their loss from the Browns, we can root for them to drag the Colts down, too.
  5. Why stop there?!?! Name a whole section of the city after him… a section with festivals dedicated to art, and places to get Greek food, and colorful late night hangouts where you can pee in a trough at 4 am in the dead of winter and watch the steam billow up in the freezing air… oh, wait. 😂 As a disclaimer, it’s been since 2005 since I’ve lived in the city so details of this part of ‘town may have changed.
  6. Thankfully, it no longer includes him carrying the load of a true WR2.
  7. Now that you bring it up, my smart TV did comment to me that I had been swearing at it a lot less lately...
  8. I won't argue the overall point about the value of a great RB, but Elway was always elite. It's like saying Dan Marino wasn't elite. Marino's greatness wasn't enough to win a championship without a running game, but it doesn't diminish how talented he was. Same with Elway, he just wouldn't have been enough to win a SB on his own.
  9. You're right, for a WR2 it wouldn't be good. For Davis and the Bills it's just right. The less they need to rely on him, the less unreliable he is... and the better he and the Bills play. When he's an integral piece of the game plan the Bills have been screwed too many times.
  10. Hopefully Dorsey, cuz if it was McDermott it's one more awful decision by the HC/DC that cost them the Broncos game and put them in the position they're in.
  11. I commented to a friend that, had Dorsey still been OC, despite Cook having the day he was, he probably would have glued him to the bench and watched helplessly as Micah Parsons wrecked sh!t all game.
  12. Not a great trajectory to throw a Hail Mary… unless you’re hoping it ricochets off of a helmet and someone catches it.
  13. Hope the new coach gives Mac a good long look to see if he’s salvageable.
  14. And 3 of their 4 remaining games are at home… where they only have a home field advantage when it’s sunny and the temperature is over 90… wonder how much that has to do with their annual late season swoon/unmasking?
  15. Stretch the field… connect the dots…
  16. Maybe Mahomes, maybe Rodgers, but I doubt Burrow. Not that he’s not a great QB, just not a magician like the other 3.
  17. I’m not bad at reading people, myself. Typically that kind of rationalization is followed by “I mean, yeah, it was my weed, but it’s not like I forced his son to smoke it…” 😉😂
  18. They could always have Phillips run the “I’m deeply committed to being offside” play and have him finish the play off on Kelce this time. That should give big brother Jason even more to B word about.
  19. If I had to narrow it down, I'd say the the bourbon is responsible for the part about the memories with your son, the vodka said the part about the heartfelt conversation with the coworker, the Jack Daniels cooler said all the stuff about not caring about the Bills anymore because it would be getting later in the night when you broke out that sort of talk, and you were probably running out of alternatives at that point if you were resorting to drinking a Jack Daniels cooler, and the White Claw at the very end of the evening (or morning, as it were given the time stamp) said the part about not caring about much of anything anymore... including, obviously, the taste of your beverage. In all seriousness, hope you bust out of your funk. Holidays are no fun when you're in the dumps.
  20. So they can travel the world and break into other markets and fill their pockets but they can’t hire full time refs to fix the officiating… a handful more international games per season chock full of terrible play and indefensible officiating is just what the league needs to further alienate their diehard fans… these greedy tunnel-vision bastards may just throttle their golden goose someday yet.
