Good gauge of Allen’s wheels when he’s running in parallel to Cook. -

Last time McD called the defense with AJ Spector… or was it Baylon Klein… starting at LB was no defensive master class. We are stuck with this D. -

Was just makin’ sure I was pickin’ up what you were layin’ down. 🤔 That probably was the last, and possibly only. big game a McDefense won outright for the Bills. -

Same defense different season. With McDermott as HC this will NEVER change. -

Good thing the defensive showing the last 2 weeks was due to the genius of McVay, the experience of Stafford, and the talent of Detroit and Ben Johnson. Would hate to think they just suck ass. 🤦♂️ -
So you would expect Stroud's reaction to be the norm for an NFL player at seeing a gruesome injury? There were, what, 80+ people on the sideline... teammates, coaching staff, trainers, etc... all of whom were also close to Dell who were not reacting in kind. There's nothing wrong with showing emotion, but it's legitimate to question Stroud's reaction if it limited his ability to finish the game and lead the team. Like it or not, he finds himself in a position that requires him to demonstrate the ability to overcome adversity and move on. As callous as it may seem, this is one of those situations. It has nothing to do with manliness. It has everything to do with being paid millions of dollars to play a contact sport in which gruesome injuries are not uncommon.

No shame in that. I imagine there's a lot of grief for the player in the moment. I would be interested to know, though, his opinion of a situation where a teammate, hypothetically or in actuality, was crying so inconsolably in the moment because his injury that he had trouble finishing the game. It's a different scenario.

Allen playing with broken hand all along???
transient replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't understand... is Josh Superman? If so, wouldn't his hand be the only thing that could kill him? Did you mean adamantium? I'm so confused. -
Didn't see it. Read the ESPN article on it where Stroud himself talks about teammates like Mixon and Schultz having to console him. He's a second year player and Dell is his best friend, so I get it to a point, but that's a problem if you've got to rely on others to get your QB to get his sh!t together. It's the NFL. In all likelihood this won't be the last time he sees a teammate suffer a career threatening injury. Hamlin's case aside, the game will go on. Time to grow up and put your big boy pants on young man.

Name a player who is comparable to Josh Allen.....
transient replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO he looks like Brett Favre with an actual football IQ. He still plays with all of those signature attributes. The other aspect that is similar to Favre is how much fun they both appear to have playing the game. How many times in the last 2 weeks has Allen rolled to his right and uncorked a ball across his body back towards the middle of the field. He just doesn't do it into traffic any more. He doesn't force things like he used to. Unlike Favre, Allen matured and learned to get out of a bad play and get to the next down. He doesn't live and die with every down like he used to. And he seems to finally have abandoned the "always look for the TD" mentality and has learned to let the game come to him. -
I thought he was the black bag that, when hit hard enough, spewed “garbage juice”.

First it was the Atlanta Falcons, now the Phoenix Suns

Did you ever stop and google the price of something before you bought it on Amazon? That platform makes a mint off consumer naivety. Some things on there are market price, but many things are insanely expensive if you bother to look. Pretty sure my wife and I are going to have to put off retirement a few years due to her blindly paying the Amazon upcharge on everyday sh!t. -
You forgot the part about Tyler Boyd being butt-hurt because Bills fans weren't showing him the same love, so Bills fans ended up donating a big chunk of cash to his charity as well.

The concessions at Mercedes Benz Stadium in ATL are actually pretty sweet. I haven't gone for a Falcons game, but I've been to a handful of ATL United games. Prices are reasonable, the concourse is spacious and walkable, given that Coca-Cola is local all of the soft drinks come with free refills, the quality of the food is pretty reasonable for a stadium (it's absolutely gourmet if you're using the dog food that's served at Highmark as a comparison), and the beer is reasonably priced. A family can get by with a similar budget to going to the movies (ticket price notwithstanding). My wife is from NOLA and wanted to hate the place, but she absolutely loved it. On top of that, much of the building is powered with solar energy, so it has the smallest carbon footprint of any stadium in the country, apparently. -

...and immediately ends up on IR. The bartender again says "Whattya boys havin'?" Confused, Denney, Kelsey and Toohill hold up their lunch pails. Nodding, the bartender says "Ah, sorry mates. Couldn't hear you before over the engine noise from the high motors." -
“Everyone probably knows the Bills scored 30 or more points for the 8th time in a row tying like 5 other teams to do it I believe. So if the Bills score 30 or more this week they become the first offense ever to hit 9 in a row. If the Bills can score 30 or more in the last 3 games they will be the first team ever to score 30 or more in 14 games in an NFL season. Right now the 2013 Broncos have the record at 13.” The most consecutive 30 pt games is 8 games in a row, currently shared including the Bills on their current streak. Bills can break it with a 9th win. The record for 30 point games in a season is 13. Bills can break that as well by winning out to get to 14. He’s talking about 2 separate records.
