Last time the bills played on my birthday!
transient replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall
Happy Birthday! I hope you get a Bills win… and a Dolphins loss… and a Steelers loss… and a Bengals loss… and a Jaguars loss… and a Colts loss… and a Texans loss… for your birthday! 🍻 -
The league shoulda moved the Chargers to Las Vegas and moved the Raiders back to LA. Vegas will draw out-of-towners to support the visitors, and the Raiders already had an LA fan base. Now they've got 2 listless fanbases in LA and a sh!tshow in Vegas that won't generate a local fanbase until ownership stops screwing the pooch with GMs an HCs.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Tyler Dunne's hit piece was the thing that ultimately galvanizes this team.

This is one of those stupid “something like this COULD happen” pieces of 💩 articles that is 100% speculation and 0% fact.

I think it was a reference to the “drinking the koolaid” posts that get tossed around when someone feels TBD posters aren’t sufficiently suspicious of motive and aren’t questioning absolutely everything the coaching staff, front office and owners tells them… most commonly seen when the Bills are playing poorly.

Bills - ♾️ Patriots - (-)♾️ Patriots are penalized a point for every time they ever cheated. -
Russell… please pack your knives and go.

Did anyone get a lump in their throats...

Correct. And if you watch this clip in slow motion you can clearly see, as many have stated, that Benford is through the blockers along the right sideline and breaking down to make a tackle, which is what turned it inside. And, to other’s points about the defenders out of frame, you can see Hamlin and 2 others coming into the fram at the very end as the play is over. The narrative about this being anywhere near a successful attempt is all Collinsworth babble. -
Bills Game on Peacock- No Commercials in the 4th Quarter !
transient replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think I would rather watch the “Oh look, a bebu” commercial on a 2 minute loop every 15 minutes than be tortured with more of Collinsworth. Tirico must want to puncture his own eardrums by the end of the game. “Now here’s a guy who doesn’t remember the name of the insurance he’s selling and puts his fake mustache on crooked then calls a bird by a made up name… you’d never see Patrick Mahomes do that… cuz he’s my hero… and I use his bum like a coozie for my nose… and he peddles State Farm insurance…” -
Josh Allen Admits He Made Christmas Present Mistake
transient replied to Since1981's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right… can’t wait for the season to begi… oh, crap. 🤦♂️ -
Agree. Bills need to leapfrog 2 teams, and a loss by Houston accomplishes one of those, and a loss by the Bengals accomplishes the other. Browns gotta lose 2 for the Bills to pass them. Also, Colts and Texans play head to head to end the season. So if the Texans get their loss from the Browns, we can root for them to drag the Colts down, too.

Why stop there?!?! Name a whole section of the city after him… a section with festivals dedicated to art, and places to get Greek food, and colorful late night hangouts where you can pee in a trough at 4 am in the dead of winter and watch the steam billow up in the freezing air… oh, wait. 😂 As a disclaimer, it’s been since 2005 since I’ve lived in the city so details of this part of ‘town may have changed.

Is Josh Allen done? Under 50% completions, pulled from game.
transient replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thankfully, it no longer includes him carrying the load of a true WR2. -

Now that you bring it up, my smart TV did comment to me that I had been swearing at it a lot less lately... -
I won't argue the overall point about the value of a great RB, but Elway was always elite. It's like saying Dan Marino wasn't elite. Marino's greatness wasn't enough to win a championship without a running game, but it doesn't diminish how talented he was. Same with Elway, he just wouldn't have been enough to win a SB on his own.

You're right, for a WR2 it wouldn't be good. For Davis and the Bills it's just right. The less they need to rely on him, the less unreliable he is... and the better he and the Bills play. When he's an integral piece of the game plan the Bills have been screwed too many times.

Hopefully Dorsey, cuz if it was McDermott it's one more awful decision by the HC/DC that cost them the Broncos game and put them in the position they're in.

Not a great trajectory to throw a Hail Mary… unless you’re hoping it ricochets off of a helmet and someone catches it.
