Hindsight being what it is, it would have been better phrased "first round prospects." I think based on college production and measureables, it was not wrong to draft Darnold and Rosen in the 1st.

The “Lamar draft” had 5 legitimate 1st round talents… this to me felt more like the”EJ Manuel draft”.

I prefer to think he's the GM starting in 2019, with his first act as GM being trading Josh Allen to the eventual SB champion that season. His next act as GM would be stocking the team with draft picks and UDFA's without any veterans to guide them. The defining characteristic of these players would not be skill, or fitting a style of play, or that they would augment the existing team. Instead it would be that they want to be here where there's no palm trees and lots of taxes. Finally, he would hire a new coach (probably Marv Levy) and immediately saddle the person with the last coach's staff to save the owner money. Despite winning 2 fewer games each season of his tenure, he would inexplicably continue on in his role as GM because the team is the youngest in the league and apparently his smug head fits perfectly in Pegula's ass. #### Kevyn Adams... and if anyone sees him anywhere near One Bills Drive they should run him over with a zamboni.

Without looking in too much depth, what these numbers say to me is that with more than twice as many top 50 picks (9 to the Bills 4, which is a marker of NE sucking and drafting in the top half of the league in all but 1 of the 5 drafts) they managed to get 1 more pro-bowl (a truly pointless award nowadays) but fewer starting seasons (despite being a less talented roster over that timeframe). Seems like worse stats to me.

Wait anxiously for Beane to trade up with each passing pick, lamenting the players selected even though I don't know a ####### thing about any of them, only to have to wait to see the TBD response when the pick IS finally made so that I know how to feel about it... and then feeling even more conflicted when half the board thinks it's the second coming of Josh Allen and the other half insists it's the second coming of Mike Williams (the OL, not the WR)...

Apparently they also traded Lamonica to the Raiders... better hope this Allen kid works out.

That’s what happens when your QB’s stats are the product of the talent around him instead of the talent within him. He did a decent job of hiding Tua’s flaws at times, though.

TO is hands down the most talented. If you're looking for something that the Bills lack, and not just the best WR of the list, I think Lee Evans added to the current group would be the missing vertical threat that would not be a distraction in the "everybody eats" approach.

For this season or next? If he can’t play this season anyway, it’s a wash. Encourage him to get the surgery knowing that he’ll spend the season on IR and plan to part with him before next season.

Not to mention, Carr was Dennis Allen's boy from his time with the Raiders. He was the head coach when he was drafted and he's the one that wanted him in NOLA. If I was Kellen Moore I'd do everything I could to take this opportunity to rid myself of this headache before it starts.

I don't necessarily agree with that. He may say all of the right things off the field, but watch his body language on the field when something goes wrong. He's a grandstanding prick to teammates and coaches. My wife is from NOLA and is a Saints fan, and I lived there for 7 years and have a lot of friends who are Saints fans, so I've seen more than my fill of Carr as a Saint. Don't know if he was like that as a Raida (I imagine he probably was), but I don't get the impression he's well liked by the Saints fan base because of his on-field behavior combined with the fact that he doesn't have the game to back it up.

I dunno, I'd call Carr's shoulder injury a break (no pun intended). He sucks and it's the perfect opportunity to move on.

In case the optics weren't completely obvious, for his first game back the league has instructed the officials to give him a first down on a play he's clearly 2 yards short on, as well.
