For someone who just wrote a Dr. Seuss inspired narrative about a football game, your response is a bit on edge. I'm not critiquing your work, I was having a little fun at the Patriots and their fanbases expense in saying I can't picture those Massholes in the role of a cute, cuddly, meek, well meaning people under any circumstances.

The Patriots and their fanbase are the Whos? Maybe if the question is "Who's the most unlikeable team and fanbase in professional sports?", otherwise I don't see it. 🤷‍♂️

I was on the phone with my parents midway through the second quarter and went on a rant excoriating everyone and everything associated with the Bills and this season that I could. I'm sure I was quite insufferable. The end of the half TD and the second half results were all but guaranteed at that point. For context, when I lived in the Buffalo area a friend that I used to go to Sabres games with pointed out to me that when I went off on a player to start a game they typically had a good game. I believe we were at a Tux and Pucks New Years game when Zhitnick, who had been playing horribly, had a give away and I just went off. He finished the game with 2 goals and an assist, I think, and notably he didn't put a puck in any of his teammates ear holes when they were standing in front of the net. My friend then proceeded to provide a list of other examples when that was the case. So, you can thank my parents for taking one for the team... I'm sure it wasn't a pleasant addition to their game watching experience.

I think, as a RB, getting a head of steam and taking these right up the gut has been a huge reason that he's successful. He's not looking for a lane to the outside, he's hitting people head on and popping out the other side. I also think the confidence that he's gotten from this role has helped him when he does get carries. He looks more decisive and quicker... unless he was nursing an injury to start the season.

Massholes are the worst. Anatomically speaking, I think masshole loosely translates to the assshole of an assshole.

So, are you jumping up and down signing his praises over the first half? Prior to the pass to Knox in the second quarter with under 5 minutes to go the Bills had -3 yds passing and 58 yds rushing, or something abysmally unacceptable like that. He had a great half of football plus one drive, prior to that he was dreadful.

The Bengals only path to victory with that roster is with a top 5 QB. It shouldn’t be a shock to anyone, least of all Burrow, that they only won 1 game without him. Their predominant cap investment relies on QB performance first and foremost.

He's not wrong, however, you could make an argument that some of those Brady/Belichick Patriots*** teams were built in the same mold, only generally with better coaching on both sides of the ball. Brady spent a huge chunk of his career in NE*** with a slot, a TE (and, at one point, a killer TE room ), and otherwise trash at WR. Of course, they actually wanted him to throw the ball, but...
