  1. Yeah, well who’s got the more successful coaching tree…
  2. Depends on the game time decision injury report… I’d say defer if Douglas, Johnson +/- Bernard are active… otherwise, coin flip (pun intended)
  3. I will be rooting for the Texans. Any meaningful football ends with the Bills season.
  4. I’m not a GDT poster. I’m not a social football watcher. I intermittently text with a lifelong friend who’s also an expat Bills fan, but when things get tense there are long periods of radio silence. I’m typically sitting hunched forward with my elbows on my thighs watching intently and occasionally yelling or celebrating, or I’m pacing. I’m apparently unpleasant enough that my wife, who is a football fan, would rather do something in another room and my dog spends the whole time acting like she did something wrong. 😂
  5. Are they sure they don't want to interview Marsha, instead? ...if they really want Belichick it could drive him into their arms... or, you know, alienate him entirely.
  6. I think you might have to swap to Klein and Williams then. The drop off in athleticism from Bernard and Dodson to Dodson and Klein would be pretty steep, IMO.
  7. "Jumping off the wagon" suggests that a "bandwagon fan" is no longer rooting for or supporting a team. I'm not suggesting that all people behaved sanely... I'm not suggesting that I behaved sanely... and I'm not suggesting that there weren't a few people who actually did "jump off the wagon", but I don't think that was the general reaction. I'm typically fairly level-headed, but after that Denver loss and then the Eagles loss, I was... and may still be, depending on the results moving forward... on board with coaching changes. Others had stronger points of view... expressed with varying degrees of negativity and sanity. You may call my and other's points of view irrational, wrong, etc... and you may make points that some consider valid... but at the end of the day it is in no way indicative of me or others jumping off the wagon. Now, if it was one of the classic "I'm soooo done with this team" posts and the person meant it, then, yes, there would appear to be a new open seat on the wagon.
  8. Were fans jumping off the wagon… or were fans concerned the team was about to run that wagon they were on full of unfulfilled potential over a cliff? They obviously turned it around, but not before they got right up to the edge of disaster.
  9. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Guerrero_(alternative_medicine) Granted, it’s Wikipedia, but watch footage from Brady’s last few seasons in NE, and then watch some from TB and the way he’s throwing the ball. Now ask yourself, with someone’s history of following the rules such as Brady, what’s more likely, that it was the avocado ice cream… or that it was the same handful of pills that got Edelman busted.
  10. And even with dwindling talent, after Brees retirement, Payton narrowly lost the division with duct tape and baling twine at QB the year Winston blew out his knee... Carmichael's offense was just bad and lifeless and plodding and awful to watch. He managed to make Andy Dalton even more efficiently boring. People think "low positive" Josh was bad, he'll have him taking a nap in the backfield. I want his input nowhere near this team on any level.
  11. He's just salty that Bills fans have thrown rubber facsimiles of his nose at Tom Brady.
  12. As as Saints season ticket holder I'll say this; Carmichael's tenure as OC basically proved it was Sean Payton calling the offense when he was in NOLA. If this is the direction we're headed we should turn the wheel hard in the opposite direction now!!
  13. I was thinking kinda like the failed Ed Reed experiment with Wrex, only, unlike everything that baffoon touched, more well thought out and... you know, purposeful. I'm not suggesting we shove him up the ladder and have him coaching the secondary, more like an apprenticeship in coaching with someone who's played in the system to pass his knowledge along to the next guy if he has a coaching interest.
  14. Didn't read through this whole thing to see if it was mentioned already, but if Hyde is ready to retire I'd hope they approach him to see if he has interest in coaching. He seems like a really smart dude who's always been more than the sum of his athletic ability. If he's interested, maybe keep Po through his contract and have the two of them coach up the next pair.
  15. The title asks if we have a kicking problem... the post asks if we can trust him... all these one-word yes and no responses... I'm so confused. 😨
  16. Granted, there aren't enough doors, but shouldn't this start with KC, as well?
  17. It depends... is he the one that dubbed Bass "Shankopotamus" in the locker room this season thinking it would boost his confidence? Does he tell Bass "remember, don't shank it" as he's stepping onto the field, putting the idea in his head? Did he say "whatever you do, don't get it blocked" yesterday going into halftime? I mean, it's not impossible. I wonder what Ronnie Jones and his mullet are up to these days...
  18. So... Achilles, Superman, and Thor? Quick, someone fire an arrow at Mahomes. Does that make Tua Paul Rudd? ...cuz he seems to shrink when everything's on the line?
  19. Such an accolade. Good thing fans can vote as many times as they like... have the blisters on your fingers healed, yet?
  20. See if Minnesota would take him on his 5th year option in exchange for Kirk Cousins. Maybe add in an additional piece going away that could make their cap situation better. Not a Cousins fan, but he'd be a better option than Tua in that offense.
  21. I'm not an X's and O's guy, but what I remember of Klein in relief of Milano, possibly going back to 2020, was initially they tried to have him fill Milano's role, which went terribly because Milano is so much more athletic. Eventually, they took more advantage of his run stopping ability and changed up the way they utilized him and his instincts and the defense was much improved for it. I think if we get some DBs back and were able to utilize Klien's instincts and Williams's athleticism, as we did last night, the defense would be passable. I would worry about a combination of, say, Klein and Spector, because I think they are similar players and we'd lack for athleticism. I feel like part of the reason Dodson has done as well as he has in relief of Milano was because he was paired with Bernard's athleticism.
