  1. He isn't about to bite the hand that feeds him.
  2. No. It was dumb luck that they made it last year. Something outrageous would need to happen the rest of the season like losing out for there to be any chance of a head coaching change. And even then, it's not a lock to happen.
  3. I think it's a fair question since at this point in his career anyway, Allen isn't a improvement. But as someone mentioned above, more appropriate for an interview or as a topic for one of his "articles", not a in-season press conference. Probably just trying to get people talking about him again ... and it has worked here at least.
  4. Ballsy until you don't make it and you get them cut off. Often the difference between ballsy and dumb-ass is if it worked or not.
  5. Everyone in the Bills locker room should feel dirty, and very embarrassed.
  6. Not sure I agree that he *needs* to go at this point. However, he did get out coached today by arguably the worst coach in the NFL.
  7. Maybe, but the Bills are not a good team. This game was proof beyond a shadow of a doubt.
  8. Better to be lucky than good I guess. ?
  9. I haven't seen anyone say they don't think the Bills are better. They clearly are. Instead of losing to the dregs of the NFL they , as you said, are finding [often ugly] ways to win them. They are a mediocre team which is what the OP is basically saying. Mediocre this year likely gets them into the playoffs, due to their easy schedule. But at the same time, there are threads about the Bills being the #1 seed.
  10. Yes, and mediocre should get the Bills in the playoffs given their schedule this season.
  11. Great post thanks. People won't like the premise of going 4-4 for the remainder of the season which you are seeing already in some responses, but it makes sense.
  12. All true. But when you have a strong defense and little offense, games you win are going to be close by definition.
  13. My goodness what makes you think any of this is true? Yes, they have to play the schedule as given, but the schedule is soft to say the least. Networks should be hoping to get in primetime????? The defense is generally sound (yesterday notwithstanding), but what network is going to want this Bills offense in prime time? My opinion is you bought the 5-1 hype a tad too much.Thinking with your heart as a Bills fan tends to get it ripped out and stomped on as you know Your other post was spot on in all 10 points. Glad you slept it off successfully On to the skins!
  14. Does he survive? You are kidding right. Except for the pats, they have had (and continue to have) a cupcake schedule. But at the end of the day, 5-2 is 5-2. If the Bills somehow manage to lose out with this schedule, then maybe, and only maybe, does he get shown the door. But even that and I think he gets one more year.
  15. Obviously the offense has to be much better than they are now. However the D got torched by a iggles o-line, and the entire team in general, riddled with injuries. That 8 minute TD drive that was mostly runs up the gut that basically sealed the game shouldn't happen to a "elite" defense in that situation, particularly when playing a backup o-line.
  16. But isn't it nice for a change to not be one of the really bad teams that are getting beaten up every week
  17. Might want to change the title to Jets will score on the pats ... but that seems to be a stretch at this point as well
  18. There were people behind him too. All it takes is one. Smart play was to give himself up, the game is then over. But it worked
  19. You make the smart play and go down and give yourself up. Had he been tackled and stripped of the ball, the discussions today might have a different tone to them. He does not carry the ball normally, and generally D players don;t have great hands ... if they did they'd be on the offense Tasker was right IMO. People that took the Bills at -17 probably disagree with me
  20. Won by 3 in reality. That onside kick TD was a fluke. But a win is a win.
  21. This is how 538 grades out QB's. Seems to be a lot more reasonable to me. 538 grades QBs
  22. Wow, takes brass ones to bet the Bills to cover at -17
