  1. I associate wearing team jerseys or t-shirts with something children would do. Game days is the exception, but just barely.
  2. Whew man that is some looooong leaps there It's a old guy looking to wind down his career. You think that translates into young players in their prime thinking that they want to play in Buffalo?
  3. And this is exactly the problem when trying to sign top WR talent. If you are a WR looking to make a name for himself to get the big $$$ contract or someone looking for a ring, are you going to bet on Josh Allen learning to be an accurate passer, and the Buffalo Bills, toilet bowl dwellers for the past 2 decades, building an offensive line? Or more directly to your point, would you be willing to be one of the WRs the Bills put around Josh Allen to see *if* he is the guy?
  4. I don't. In fact if it wasn't for the Bills I wouldn't watch any American football. But it isn't a difficult concept. The Bills have sucked for decades. Someone might have an emotional attachment to the Bills based on family or having grown up in the area. But it's not unreasonable that they might want to also "root" for a team with enough talent to make a deep run into the playoffs every few years.
  5. Most people value quality of life over a job. This is particularly true when you can get the same job in multiple locations, with all paying multi-millions of dollars. You pick the one that would make yourself and your family the happiest. Football isn't the most important thing in the world, in fact far from it. Spoken like a true Billiever
  6. This would really piss me off if I lived in Erie County.
  7. Exactly, just a fluff piece. Now if he had said "Daboll discouraged by Allen’s progress" ... then we would have something to talk about
  8. If the kid doesn't progress and is the same the next few years as he was this past year, then yes, the Bills could be better setup at QB. If, however, he does progress and grow into a solid NFL starter or more, then the Bills are certainly sitting pretty at that position.
  9. Zero effect. It's a freaking game. Miss work due to a freaking game? Surely you jest
  10. Can't speak for everyone, but my interest in football itself has been in decline for years. I only watch the Bills now. So the superbowl is a big yawn to me any more.Even at the parties I go to, very few people actually watch the game for the majority of the time. One commercial I thought might be good, I watched the other day (released early, wtf), the chic from sex in the city and "the dude". ***** stupid.
  11. I can't stand her when she does her bizarre stuff or sings pop. But find some of her stuff on youtube where it's just her and a piano, holy crap that girl has some pipes.
  12. Agreed about the corpses. Enough tales from the crypt shows. The NFL needs younger viewers to stay sustainable. Agree 100% about Gaga. Amazing talent. Bruno Mars ... not so much IMO. Though he is popular.
  13. That's the only reason the TV will be tuned to that channel Sunday ... my wife likes them, and my daughter LOVES them
  14. That's a very good way to state it. I'm not a fan of the game any more, just of the Bills. So I won't be watching, but the TV will be on during halftime for my daughter to watch Maroon 5
  15. The TV will be on for the first half probably with no audio. My daughter is a huge maroon 5 fan and wants to watch that. After that performance it will likely be off. Not because of the pats, or bad calls or anything else. I just have little to no interest in football any more except for the Bills.
  16. Agree. They could also tell the on field ref where to spot the ball. I always chuckle when it's 3rd or 4th and 1, run right up the gut so it's just a sea of humanity and the refs can't even see the ball carrier. They spot the ball almost randomly, then bring out the chains to see if it's a first down. Hilarious
  17. If the Bills were given a do-over, knowing what they know now, I would expect them to take Mahomes.
  18. No. That's why you have floating holidays and vacation. Most Americans don't watch, much less over indulge during it. No offense to the OP, but the idea makes no sense. Fixed it for you. The BIGGEST SPORTING EVENT IN THE WORLD. is the world cup final.
  19. Wouldn't it be pretty foolish for people who had seasons for some or all of the decades of suck to give them up now when they can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel (and for once it isn't the headlight of a oncoming train)?
  20. You don't go for the game, you would go for the event. The game is pure *****.
  21. Josh was at the Sabres game last night. The only Bill they showed (that I saw, at least). That's a positive thing, even if he was in a box
  22. I think he is more likely to have a 300 yard running game than passing, at least at his current proficiency level.
  23. Wow, that's a interesting and bold take on the situation.
  24. No it hasn't. What we knew going in was very strong arm, can run, accuracy issues. And that's exactly what we saw this season.
  25. Blood sacrifice for the fans. A coach can't make up for having zero talent due to GM mismanagement.
