I’ve been begging my wife to allow me to do a prime rib for Thanksgiving for the past few years, but she doesn’t want anything to do with it. I like turkey, but it’s not my favorite. I enjoy the leftover cold turkey sandwiches more than I do the actual turkey dinner.

I’d like to add that since the Oliver injury, Groot has been used all over the defensive line. Notice how he’s playing 3 tech in a lot of obvious run situations. Most of the time he isn’t allowed to “pin his ears back” like traditional edge rushers. But he seems to be making an impact on a lot of plays. He’s doing his job, IMO. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m not sure how this works. His contract looks pretty doable in the short term. Looks like Miami restructured his deal to save cap space this year, but Minkah is on the books for ~15.5 million in the final year of his 4 year deal next season. Would Buffalo be on the hook for paying him that?

I really enjoyed that former board member who tried to do movie review threads. He did a movie review thread of the Smurfs movie and hilarity ensued. I was excited to hear that Dark Star Orchestra (Grateful Dead cover band) was coming to a small local theater in November. I went to their website to purchase tickets and they were $65 for BALCONY seats! DSO is really good and they tour nationally, but I’m not paying $130 plus fees to take my wife to see a cover band. After you get a bite to eat before and a couple beers at the show, you’re in for $350 at least. That’s insane.

Watched One Battle after Another in the theater last night. It was just a really cool movie. Sean Penn’s character was so bizarre and interesting. Great performances from Benecio del Toro and Leo DiCaprio. Real interesting story line. Highly recommended.
