  1. "an investigation of the parlor’s garbage revealed bodily fluids" That sounds like a fun job...
  2. Why does the NFL award compensatory picks again? I'm not sure I understand the benefit to the league or players from this concept. It seems to work against league parity and act as an incentive for teams to dump players with high contracts.
  3. Should be obvious why. The "legit, hot female targets" at his house are probably 90% gold diggers and headaches-in-waiting. Prostitutes are generally straight forward and anonymous.
  4. A guy that mysteriously disappears in the playoffs while his team’s offense sputters to a halt?
  5. It's good therapy after the Bills get hammered the week before. No matter how bad it was, by Friday I'm completely confident in a win.
  6. My thoughts exactly. Anyone who pays that for him is beyond crazy. It's not the 1970s anymore.
  7. The fact that he is a former Bill IS the reason for the hate. Or haven’t you been following the threads/reactions about Gilmore, Darius, Watkins, Manuel, Goodwin, Hogan, Glenn, Brown, Bradham, Alonso, Darby, etc.,etc. The only good Bills are either still on the team or retired. Everyone else is a #$@!head or a bust (or both.)
  8. ... but other than that...
  9. Two more years at least. I mean they need half a dozen new starters on offense alone. Forget DT and DE. I know you can’t build an all star team with top guys at every position but they are not one year away from contention. No way.
  10. I don’t think paying what it takes is salary and assets to get Antonio Brown would qualify as “buy low” ?
  11. Even without Brady, the Patriots have a better roster than anyone else in the division. Certainly the Bills. Compare their players 1v1. How many Bills would start for the Pats? Would there be any on offense except maybe McCoy and Allen?
  12. No surprise at all but it still sucks that it didn't work out. I don't want to make excuses for him but he didn't exactly get the best QB play while he was here. But even considering that, his production was bad and with his knees I doubt he has long left to play either.
  13. There once was a man from Nantucket...
  14. He was great for a few minutes.
  15. Obviously Denver thinks that his mediocre results are mostly the result of Baltimore's offensive system and/or surrounding personnel, and that he has the ability and leadership qualities to become a top tier QB in the right situation. I guess we'll see.
  16. I don't think they ever saw him as more than a "bridge" QB. I assume they'll just keep him in the backup role. Maybe with a "restructured" contract.
  17. Cards had worse coaching too.
  18. Then what happens to Bodine? I think he's going to be given every opportunity to earn the starting spot.
  19. He did the no punt game. Was a great ref.
  20. It’s interesting to start a new football league with all the concerns about the future of the sport. I’m not sure I’d invest in this as a growth concept. It seems to be pretty much maxed out.
  21. Hopefully everything will work out fine with Allen, but it's still hard to fathom how a team that has needed a quarterback for 20 years decided to pass on Mahomes and trade down. Same goes for passing on Watson for that matter. Bills could have had either one.
  22. It doesn't sound like the Bills are going to pay big money for top, proven free agents, so this is exactly the kind of risk that they are going to have to take if they want to get some help. He is very unlikely to be a long term solution because of his age and injury history, but if he has a good year or two while a rookie develops then it was a successful deal. I say if the price is right then why not?
  23. Russel Wilson right after the Bills traded up to take TJ Graham.
