  1. That is my theory. More than any other position on the team, their statistics and perceived value is dependent on others, so they develop a mentality of blaming other players for falling short of their often unrealistic expectations. This leads to a general mindset of blaming external forces and constantly stumping for their own greatness because they are prevented form showing it on the field due to other players ineptitude.
  2. This sounds like the punter they have now.
  3. There is time. It’s not like a punter needs to learn the offense. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave Bojorquez a regular season game to see if he can figure things out. He has a strong leg.
  4. Except that the Cardinals and Bengals are on this list too so you have to wonder a little what it really means.
  5. People keep beating up the OL, and it was bad without question. But the offensive system has a lot to do with it. Greg Roman's system was very effective in the running game. Remember that they had Mills and Miller starting on the right side of that line and still had the best running game in the league for 2 years. It wasn't all Shady either. Backs like Karlos Williams, Mike Gillislee and even Jonathan Williams were outstanding during their time in Buffalo.
  6. It’s neck and neck between him and Glennon. A very weak QB draft for sure. Perfect time for the Bills to find their new “franchise” QB.
  7. I think they're going to add a QB to the practice squad. It would be pretty dangerous to play the season with only 2 QBs who know the offense.
  8. I agree. McCoy can still play, IMO. I’m sure he will land somewhere and we’ll see.
  9. lol. Well, it could be worse. I had to miss my draft and the computer drafted Andrew Luck for me at QB.
  10. He probably wasn't interested. He can play for someone else for a lower salary in a week or so . . . someone who didn't require him to take a pay cut to be on the team.
  11. Gore. With Singletary and Yeldon mixed in.
  12. Had to kind of see the writing on the wall with them bringing in Gore and Yeldon, and drafting Singletary in the 3rd round. But still surprising to actually see it happen for no compensation.
  13. I read that they cut Murphy too. Is that right?
  14. He was the entire offense for most of his time here. It's a tough business. People should keep things like this in mind when they question players for trying to cash in when they have the chance.
  15. Really, nothing?
  16. You mean they could get a draft pick for Russell Bodine but not for Shady?
  17. It's crazy. He took his team to the Super Bowl and now he's being compared to a guy who has debatable qualifications to even make the practice quad.
  18. This comment plus not keeping Teller himself makes me wonder if they aren't going to just keep 8 OL.
  19. If Morse starts at center then Feliciano will be RG with Ford at RT, and Nsekhe as "swing" tackle, IMO. But I have a bad feeling that Morse will not start next Sunday. I've been hearing how it's nothing and he'll be back any second for all of training camp and the preseason, but he's still in concussion protocol and not cleared to play. And the decision as to when he's cleared is supposedly out of the teams hands, so I'm skeptical of all this speculation that it's just gamesmanship by the Bills.
  20. I've been underwhelmed by H Phillips this preseason. I was expecting a big jump from him but he looks like the worst of the 4 DTs right now.
  21. What would be the point of trading Hughes for Clowney? I'm not sure that Clowney is even better than Hughes to begin with, and if so then minimally.
  22. I agree with this, but they seem to really want a FB on the roster.
  23. I've got it: Ray-Ray McCloud, Deondre Wesley and Marcus Murphy for Clowney.
  24. Texans are supposed to be looking for an OT as part of the deal, so Dawkins would probably have to be included.
  25. I was thinking the same thing. Problem is that guys like Aaron Donald ruined that for regular rookies. As long as Oliver can hold his own and make the occasional play I'll be satisfied for his rookie season.
