  1. I think you will find the pass defense plummet in effectiveness if you are locked up in man coverage with a single high safety most of the time. They don't have the right DBs for that kind of scheme. Who is Wallace going to cover in man coverage all game?
  2. Gailey ran it a lot more than that.
  3. The defense is built to play vs the pass and the offense is pass heavy, so I don't think the Bills are building a team to play in weather like today. Today's weather worked very nicely for the Eagles, IMO.
  4. Don't take chances with the hammy. If you're unsure then give him the extra week. IMO.
  5. Yes. Harrison Phillips was already getting more reps that Lotulelei before he was injured, and that trend would have probably continued given Phillips youth and improvement. Unfortunately, he is out, Petko is worse that Lotulelei, and Edmunds is not a classic run-stuffing MLB. That means that you can probably run right at them, as Miami showed. They Bills can always counter with numbers, dropping an extra man in the box and playing more man coverage but that's not really the defense's strength so it will be a cat and mouse game. The best thing the Bills can do is race out to a big lead and chase the Eagles out of the run game all together.
  6. Because they wanted the game to end as fast as possible.
  7. I noticed this too. No one commented on it during the game. The announcers were clueless. Funny side note- I heard a caller comment on this loophole during a One Bills Live broadcast and get laughed off the air by both Murphy and Tasker who were both sure that the clock stopped running after a penalty.
  8. Well, Nick Foles lit them up in the SB.
  9. It is kind of strange that a 5-1 team can be just a 1 point home favorite against a 3-4 team on a two game losing streak.
  10. I guess they miss Frank Reich more than people thought they would.
  11. He was actually trying to hit a fan in the 3rd row but overthrew it.
  12. I know it's been a long time, but I think you've forgotten what home playoff games in Buffalo are like. It would be a huge advantage, especially if it's against NE. This team is too inexperienced to go on the road and win in the playoffs vs high quality opposition.
  13. Decoy. Not if they want to win the division and actually try to do something in the playoffs.
  14. That random stat is all that matters? ?
  15. So, the options are he has a lingering injury that won't heal or he is a loafer and mailing it in. Neither sound too appealing to me.
  16. Why do you hate the Bills? ?
  17. It is amazing when you consider how much announcers add to the viewing experience. Most of the time they’re just describing what were already watching or telling us what to think so you would think it would be more annoying than enhancing.
  18. I agree and have always thought this. However, if that becomes the case then I think they should have fewer automatic reviews. Every turnover, every scoring play and all plays inside of two minutes are already subject to automatic review and that’s 80% of the plays you would want reviewed to begin with. i would just give the team as many reviews as they have timeouts and that’s it. Successful reviews cost nothing. Failed reviews cost a timeout.
  19. Championships are a team achievement. Putting it all on the QBs is ridiculous. Trent Dilfer, Rich Gannon, Mark Rypien, Doug Williams, Phil Simms, Jeff Hostetler... were all inferior QBs to Kelly and/or Marino. That's a general consensus, which is why Kelly and Marino are in the HOF and the others are not.
  20. I see. That's a strange take. It would make Jim Kelly and Dan Marino the equals of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Tannehill. No ring, no ring after all.
  21. So, Jim Kelly?
  22. So, Rosen then?
  23. So, rest their starters another week? ?
  24. Miami would certainly have the edge in depth and experience, but consider that the all-stars would have the top 10 picks in the upcoming draft all on one team so they would certainly have a handful of players with more talent than anyone currently on the Dolphins team. For example, are Nick Bosa and Ed Oliver getting killed by NFL lines? What if they were on the same team with Quinnen Williams and Clelin Ferrell? Not sure I'd take the Dolphins OL against that. As I said, Miami would be a clear and heavy favorite but it would be a much closer and more interesting game that vs Alabama.
  25. Marv Levy too, but you don't see the usual white guys recycled from HC position to HC position without having had any success at their previous stops too much anymore (all due respect to Adam Gase) It it was a good job then they wouldn't have an opening at HC. Someone needs to go there and turn it around.
