I prefer to think of Cam Newton's troubles as perfect justice for his "I don't know anything about that" attitude during the Auburn payoff scandal, i.e. the Blame My Dad investigation. Couple that with the way he acts, it makes it easy to root against him.

Outrage is still outrage, no matter if it is kneeling during the anthem, stealing out of a register, assault, killing PERIOD, rape... it's all bull **** and an outrage, period.

I'm a veteran too and so don't tell me that my contempt for this fool who disrespects the anthem should be not to "hide behind the flag" and end as the country thinking we are "country bumpkins". Go after the people that cause the damn problems for "people of color", and not my anthem and especially my flag... there are PLENTY of other damned places and ways to protest in this country. It's ILK by the way... an ELK is out in the country... you know, that country you just injected into this?

That's what happens when you allow the religious far right to dominate the conversation when it comes to Christianity... no wonder those who associate with faith are dwindling in numbers. Instead of focusing on compassion, love the neighbor, and charity, they focus on abortion, same sex marriage, and Planned Parenthood. It's embarrassing to Christians everywhere that the far right has made Christianity out to be intolerant and ignorant... truly sad.

Sounds like a load of BS to me... it doesn't matter if you are a veteran or not... if you threaten our government, it is not a Constitutional issue anymore. You cannot threaten people under the guise of freedom of speech. If you don't like the way things are run, then vote... and if you try and threaten the peace under guise of a militia "protecting freedom" or other group, then be prepared to face the consequences.

So, as a reminder, Cam Newton's shady past, to where he had NO KNOWLEDGE of pay for play. Tit for tat game, I say. The no substantiation game goes both ways, so sit down, Mr. King. "Now the bizarre part: The NCAA did determine that the pay-for-play allegations against Newton's father, Cecil, are accurate and amount to a violation of Association bylaws. This is exactly the story that emerged in the press last month. The investigation into all relevant parties and schools remains ongoing, per the NCAA's release: "Reinstatement decisions are independent of the NCAA enforcement process and typically are made once the facts of the student-athlete’s involvement are determined. The reinstatement process is likely to conclude prior to the close of an investigation." What the NCAA apparently did not find, though, is that Cam Newton actually accepted any improper benefits or, as far as it can uncover, had any knowledge of his father's scheme. It ceased to be an "abstract issue" when the motives for this "story" were based on race. It invalidates the entire piece to know that the intent is reprehensible.
