  1. So, what happened then?!?!? I'd say he's looking a lot like James Hardy right about now. http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/draft/2012/round/3/pick/6
  2. "A fake punt, huh? You'd better be glad I'm not the special teams coach, or I'd yell at you and make you feel bad!"
  3. Talk as in "Hello, how are you doing sir?" "Ohh, that's good, glad to hear you are doing well." ????? Talk and have a conversation are two different things IMO... Brandon is the puppetmaster in this show that is keeping a Wizard of Oz like facade to the whole deal. Ralph Wilson, the large and omnipotent Oz, is having his strings pulled. PLEASE tell me most of you are not blind to this!!!!!!
  4. Wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... Clements, Lynch, and Evans WERE NOT BUSTS!!!! That is absolute nonsense... just because Clements left as a FA, Lynch didn't grow up right away, and Evans had no QB to throw him the damn ball with regularity don't make them busts! Ugh. If we based the idea of "busts" by your logic, half the Bills greats who suffered through countless bad seasons would also be busts...
  5. Give up. Just. Give. Up. Flutie sucked... we haven't had a real QB since Jim Kelly or maybe Bledsoe for one year before he reverted to a freakin turtle.
  6. Does anyone remember watching this game? A true classic, in better days for the Iggles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAhZqyy2KNQ
  7. The guy is a beast, a leader and a coaches' dream. Based on talent alone, Buddy would have no choice but to draft him. His availability would have been money had we lost one more game earlier.
  8. Te'o will not be available when we are selecting unless we lose out, mark my words... we couldn't get that lucky.
  9. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! There. I feel better now. Now we are officially one of the worst organizations in the league, one that officially made our selection of a QB known to the world instead of providing a shred of mystery. I don't think this is a trick... this is desperation, plain and simple. In April, when another GM picks up the phone, they will AUTOMATICALLY know they can stick it to us to trade up. This guy makes me laugh.
  10. 1. Keep going, and don't let others bring you down. The article may need a lot of work, but at least the attempt is noteworthy- as TR said: 2. If you all are going to knock him, at least give him some criticism that is beneficial and not just say "don't post his links here". 3. Objectivity is the key... I'd say to Talbot that you have to ensure that your loyalties don't bleed too much into your writing.
  11. I'd say 'based upon the pockets of Rogers Communications, we have found that southern Ontario has inched past Rochester'. FIXED.
  12. I'm not putting on any Sabres gear until they end this damn @#!!@# lockout. Only NHL 13 exists for me ATM... They DID play their games in Milwaukee for years... MAN you make me feel old if you don't know that!!!!!!
  13. Rauch also never found success again after the 1968 season. We found out early he wasn't a good coach, and he got fired from many teams.
  14. Flying J > Detroit construction. I know you get it. Ohh yeah, that's what we have been reduced to and why we still suffer. http://www.ohio.com/news/top-stories/pilot-flying-j-reflects-incoming-browns-owner-haslam-s-attention-to-detail-1.342434
  15. For many of you who don't know the Bills' history before the 1990's, the Bills struggled through years of NFL wasteland after losing to Kansas City in the AFL playoffs in 1967. The reason why we were able to draft O.J. Simpson is because we were terrible, like 1-12 terrible, and something had to change. So, Ralph Wilson decided to go for a big name coach (at the time) and signed John Rauch, who recently resigned from the Oakland Raiders. I'm not going to get into the personal differences that O.J. and Rauch had or who was more guilty, but to say that O.J. was underutilized is an understatement. He had 300 attempts over 2 seasons, gaining over 1,100 yards, which didn't bring the Bills any success- Rauch went 7-20-1 during his tenure, and the underutilization of O.J. continued over Bills coaching retread Harvey Johnson, when in going 1-13 his attempts and yardage remained virtually the same. Whatever happened during the first three seasons of O.J.'s career, it was clear that Rauch had established that O.J. wasn't going to succeed and it was indeed a self-fulfilling prophecy without belief. Fortunately, Lou Saban took over as coach of the Bills, and things vastly improved for the Bills' running game, despite the abysmal Dennis Shaw at quarterback. Soon his average shot up to 300 carries a season and you should know where that led to- an NFL record 2,003 yards and a (gasp!) playoff spot the next year. Despite the Bills having the worst quarterback situation since their inception, they finally figured out how to use their star running back and that turned it all around. Unfortunately, the continued lack of stability at quarterback doomed the Bills and Saban left the team as only Lou could. Today, we face a team with a better quarterback and a coach who refuses to '"let loose" Spiller. It has happened before, and probably will happen again, but it is not too late. We can most certainly avoid what the past has shown us and fix it NOW. Question is, will it happen? This is a nice article from Sports Illustrated in 1975 on the Bills and O.J.'s experiences: http://sportsillustr...90350/index.htm
  16. His teams were in the top 11 in rushing yards for half his career in Philly... I don't think he's THAT pass happy
  17. I never said he was... someone else mentioned Kelly and others... I'm not against giving Arians a shot, but Reid is my #1 choice. So what? Did Bill Parcells succeed with those powers? NO. He was a great coach and won 2 Super Bowls. Andy Reid can still be a great coach and someone else can manage the show. It has been done before!
  18. You see what I mean then... I think they know that they must act, do something, or their string pulling of the man that once was compos mentis Ralph Wilson will be bare for everyone to see... but are they that smart???
  19. EXACTLY!!!! This is a great comparison. Most impressive, sir!
  20. With Vick and a disgusting offensive line he's been terrible, you mean. I think that is on the GM for not realizing Vick isn't a franchise QB... and what drama???? Is it any more dramatic than it has been with Gregg Williams? Mike Mularkey? Dick Jauron? Chan Gailey?!?!? NONE of those guys had a winning record with ANY QB except the Bledsoe blip year of 2004 at 9-7!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Andy Reid!!!!! Forget college coaches... if you get Andy Reid a quarterback worth a damn at least, we're good. He just didn't all of a sudden forget how to coach- the place he's in now is an absolute pit that is far worse off than Buffalo. Flame me if you wish, but it is time to stop pussyfooting around and get a guy who has proven he can win and win and win. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/ReidAn0.htm
  22. Let's turn this into a "where are the Bills drafting" thread now, and wear paper bags on our heads and sing, "Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen".
