  1. That's far scarier... 1991? Man, I'm OLD. When I was born, The Juice was going for 2,000.
  2. He might have very well been one of the guys in their locker room that quit and got Munchak fired. NO THANKS.
  3. Pure hyperbole... wow. Is being homosexual based upon environment, genetics, a combination of the two, or what, because it is most certainly not a majority lifestyle. That's what I took from it. People looked down on it and worse for centuries in most places, and yet it still happened despite risking death, maiming, etc. Those are questions people will continue to ask because it is a mystery, not because everyone is homophobic. Please...
  4. So, why don't you add Thurman Thomas to that list (crucial turnovers) and Jim Kelly (injury prone, turnovers) to the list as well? It's a team game... DUH
  5. That's right... there is always a reception with the enshrinees before the event.
  6. <------ FINALLY!!!!!!!!! I'll be there August 1st, like I was for Thurman's enshrinement. This is a GREAT, GREAT day.
  7. Heaven just was +1ed.... no doubt.
  8. It is if you can't cheat anymore to win it.
  9. Pats* fans are obnoxious #@!holes that I don't give two #!@#! about. They cheated to do what they did, flat out. I would never be jealous of a cheater.
  10. I said Robinson, BUT there is no choice for trade down... that's not good. Trade down and build more depth... after all, the first round is a crap shoot anyway.
  11. Johnny Unitas was a 10 time Pro Bowler, won 4 championships, 4 MVP awards, and was one of the toughest QBs the NFL has ever had over THREE decades. He only lost 1 title game as a starter, being screwed out of Super Bowl III and thus Shula gets fired. The rules changed making it EASIER to score points and to protect your QB, not harder. What Johnny U did is simply amazing.
  12. In one year, our team was massively upgraded by adding Robert Woods, Marquise Goodwin, Kiko Alonso, and E.J. Manuel. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and avoid the Gailey comparisons because Whaley seems to have his stuff together, and that pleases me greatly. After the draft and free agency period this should be revisited, but for now I'm trusting.
  13. His career stats are terrible... he had one shining moment, like Doug Williams or Mark Rypien.
  14. I was shocked to see how Steve Young and Kurt Warner were so similar in career stats average! Young had 44 more games on Warner. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/Y/YounSt00.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WarnKu00.htm
  15. In this order: Johnny Unitas Peyton Manning John Elway Joe Montana Dan Marino
  16. Puzzlewit. Applesauce. Huzzah! Bully!
  17. Colts>Bills because they recognized that having Rogers on the field HURT their team, unlike the Bills with Graham. That's what that meant!
  18. Stevie is NOT a #1 guy... he has proven himself to be overpaid. We desperately need one more receiver (like a Lofton or a young guy like we got in Woods or Goodwin). Keeping him in Buffalo is a mistake.
  19. Addendum Graham cost us multiple games with this kind of bad play. He still started for us. Colts>Bills for a reason in 2013. NOW End Thread.
  20. Which is why I brought up Travis Henry... you NEVER KNOW how things will shake out.
  21. Just by going through 1960-1967 and through the late 70's on, I found a bunch of them: Chuck Mercein (chose NFL over AFL, 1967 Packers) Al Atkinson (1968 Jets) Remi Prudhomme (1969 Chiefs) Chuck Hurston (1969 Chiefs) Paul Warfield (chose NFL over AFL, 1972, 1973 Dolphins) Keith Moody (1980 Raiders) Mario Clark (1984 49ers)
  22. David Nelson wasn't going to beat out T.J. Graham in the preseason (be honest), that's for sure, but now I hope the coaches have realized their blunder with Mr. Clueless Stone Hands. You're going to see a falloff with radical change in the coaching staff, so that's not really a hit on them in Year 1. You ought to know that you can't magically coach up OLmen who aren't up to snuff, no matter how good you are. They evaluated their play all season and now know what they have and can fix it. My Year Two list is pretty simple.... 1. Get rid of Graham. 2. Upgrade the OL and LB corps. 3. Fix the special teams. Everything else I can deal with... if they don't fix these three problems, it's gonna be a long 2015. PS. I am EXCITED about what Moeaki could do for us if he suits up in Week 1.
  23. Sometimes I wish we'd go against convention, grab another QB, and see what transpires. I know it won't happen, but if it does, I'll be ecstatic. The pressure to succeed when another talented QB is breathing down your neck really does inspire the very best out of athletes, and frankly Manuel needs that.
  24. So??? Just take a look at Travis Henry! Traded to Tennessee, suspended 4 games for substance abuse, had 1200+ yards and 7 TDs for Tennessee, and then... jail for drugs. "Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose"
  25. What kind of production did we get from our running game for half of the season when it counted? Not very good production, even with the split time between a sometimes hurt CJ and a sometimes hurt FJ. That's not on the OC, my friend. Our offensive line wasn't performing nearly as efficiently as it was in the past for the running game (546 attempts, #1 in the league by far to get to your #2 ranking in rushing yards), which probably has a lot to do with our anemic passing game, something which really rests on our QB, TE and WR situations. We must be more balanced and talented in order to free up more room for our running game to MEAN something.
