Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
EasternOHBillsFan replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Much like the Steelers defense, which has been worn down to a nub because of their trash offense. The Bengals and Steelers are both being mismanaged at this point, but Zac Taylor is still an absolute mystery as to his value. -
Antonio Brown in big trouble...again

Inevitable response, no? -
Lofton was an important part of our high scoring offense by stretching the field in most of our Super Bowl years. I never felt like TO, Diggs or Evans were as crucial as Reed, Lofton or Moulds.

I'm sorry, but I cannot in good conscience leave off Mike Stratton, the heart of the Bills defense in the 1960s. Dion Dawkins is in my mind the best LT this team has ever had and could be the greatest OL we have ever had. Many may disagree with that, but he locks it down covering his QBs blind spot, something I have not seen since Will Wolford was a Bill. Bruce Smith Josh Allen O.J. Simpson Thurman Thomas Andre Reed Jim Kelly Butch Byrd Eric Moulds Billy Shaw James Lofton Dion Dawkins Cornelius Bennett Ted Washington Mike Stratton Darryl Talley

Despite the hilarious appearance of "redunandat", this post deserved a more conceptualized GIF for the repetitive Cook threads

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Either WATCH or DON'T WATCH. I lived in an era where you had black and white or cabinet color TV, 3 channels and rabbit ears, and you either watched a couple of Bills games and saw the rest on a highlight show or in the sports section so I'd say complaints are a reflection of how spoiled people have gotten. My God, enough... be glad you can at least have the OPTION TO WATCH every game from long distances. -
PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

Look on the bright side, at least EA doesn't have exclusive rights for the stadium! That's a win! -

Mina Kimes seems pretentious many times when she appears, so the dog probably completes the shtick.

Groton/New London, CT... was stationed there for over 3 years in the mid 2000s. Near both casinos and the beautiful game of poker easily and we were spoiled for sure. I can't listen to NYC radio and couldn't back then either- I don't know why they always try and present these "tough guy" personalities because they come off as insufferable and "get off my lawn" types. I admit I watch the Mike Francesa Podcast just to see him melt down about the Jests as a guilty pleasure.

Bills games you’ve never rewatched
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Bills!Win!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I was there for one of the worst drubbings the Bills endured on the road during the drought, that shellacking we got in Foxboro when Losman got cheap shotted by Wilfork and Trent Edwards came in. Although it is covered by the "Brady losses" line, that was the worst one after McKelvin's gaffe. Being there made it 1,000 times worse. -
I loved living in Connecticut, but having to endure the slop they have for sports radio and TV in that market sucks. Thank God for access to other means of sports talk and info.

Between the two dodos Gary and Randy doing Sportscenter AM, Stephen A., Pat McAfee, Orlovsky and Booger, ESPN has fatally jumped the shark. I find myself going to the internet and just reading rather than watch ESPN's harakiri lineup.

Mini-Camp: A James Cook Barometer
EasternOHBillsFan replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Cook was the best by far then he would get a vast majority of the touches and the contract he desires. You are making this personal when it is just business... why pay a guy who is in a rotation that much a season when you have two fully capable RBs on the roster? -
TINSTAWBIP There is no such thing as winning baseball in Pittsburgh thanks to the system who allows an owner to pocket tens of millions a season. EVERY Pirates fan knows Skenes will be traded and never get the ace contract in Pittsburgh.

Bruce played more regular season games his last two seasons in Buffalo (31) than Bosa has in his last three (28). Bruce hardly ever missed regular season games, while Bosa has missed a lot of regular season games.

I'll take that blanket conclusion over your stone faced "not enough information, wait and see" act based upon his long and storied history when it comes to injuries and games missed.

This thread is like Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees, baby! -
I was a Knicks fan for MANY years back in the 1990s and early 2000s, but after Latrell Sprewell got jobbed and Jeff Van Gundy left I became very disinterested... the game was changing for the worse, taking out defense and replacing it with 110-120-130 point per side games. It just wasn't fun anymore and I quit the NBA. Even now as the Knicks are back in the ECF I can't get the mojo up for the Knicks. The NBA just isn't the same anymore.....

That reminds me of the history of my family passed down through a diary... my ancestors crossed it iced over in late February of 1817 and lost a team of horses doing it too.
