If you watch The Facility like I do, then you will see how much more Shady McCoy respects Andy Reid... he mentions his name a lot as if he were a god while saying NOTHING about McDermott. He was coached by McD for 2 seasons and before McD was the assistant in Philly for his first 2 seasons and I understand he got a Super Bowl win with Reid after 5 years with him split between the Eagles and Chiefs. I wish someone would ask him about McDermott and see what he says... I know it was his first and second season coaching, but I am curious now.

Odd hire indeed. What is the connection here? Hmmm...

Bobby Slowik will replace Joe Brady as he moves on to the Saints. The Texans OL was TERRIBLE and Stroud didn't handle it well at all. He didn't suddenly forget how to coach... just gotta hope we can get him before Detroit if Brady leaves.

WHAT I SEE: "Joe Brady is the next Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints" 🤢

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Cam Newton is on Get Up this morning, still refuses to say anything positive about Josh... the man REALLY IS a hater. He even made Jalen Hurts out to be the man and said nothing about Saquon. -
AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
EasternOHBillsFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
My points for this game: - Referees cannot call an excessive amount of offensive holding calls - Chiefs offensive line is the fatal weakness if our defense can exploit it, forcing the Chiefs into abandoning the HB runs - Bills secondary not beating themselves with mental mistakes - Play turnover free football like we did against most opponents this year I feel as if we win if we can win these bullet points. -
Thanks to Bills Fans for being awesome

After what Lamar said to Josh and after the game, I am a fan now instead of a detractor. It was so genuine and uplifting... so many examples of it may make a difference yet. -
Sorry, but that is not true. "Owner Terry Pegula, who did not take questions from reporters Friday, told WGR 550 earlier in the day that McDermott asked about the Bills' organizational structure during the interview process and that Pegula's answer was "short and sweet" on the topic. "I told him the GM and the coach work together," Pegula said. "Obviously, Doug is sitting in the room with him while he's interviewing. So [McDermott] knows, if he's hired by this GM ... I like him. It's not like we're bringing a new GM in and hiring [McDermott] as a coach first. This GM, coach working together -- they both answer to the owners." McDermott later confirmed that he and Whaley will report directly to Pegula, which is the same structure the Bills used under former coach Rex Ryan and one that Pegula feels is "more common than it is unusual" in the NFL." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18468825/general-manager-doug-whaley-buffalo-bills-retain-control-53-man-roster

Pegula specifically tasked his GM with the head coaching search, and McD was hired in January. Something happened between then and the draft that caused Whaley to be fired. Call it kismet that we got an Andy Reid disciple who is great friends with Tomlin, but it happened. The Jets are going through with the same search and from the news that Glenn left without committing it's not a good sign at all, not to mention the GM interview as well. "[Pegula] and I informed Doug this morning that we will be moving in a new direction," Bills co-owner Terry Pegula said in a statement. "We have enjoyed working with Doug. He is a good person and we want to thank him for his work and commitment to our football team. This was my decision. It was not an easy decision but I believe it's the right one for the future of the Buffalo Bills. Our search for a new general manager will begin immediately." "The Bills also dismissed their entire scouting staff a day after the draft, with Terry Pegula announcing the decision during a news conference Sunday. "I don't want to discuss publicly why we made the decision, the factors," Pegula said. "Doug is a good guy. He's a smart man. But we made the decision. And the reasons remain private to us and Doug." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19278432/doug-whaley-fired-buffalo-bills-general-manager

Bills fans Super Bowl 25 watch party
EasternOHBillsFan replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
The first football game I ever got to watch was the Eagles "Fog Bowl" playoff game because it was on at my Scout leader's house... I ended up being hooked on football and what tipped the scales was the fact that my mother graduated from Lew-Port and went to Fredonia and I chose the Bills. I had no idea that from then on it would be a 35 year journey of the highest highs, the lowest lows and today, once again close to that high from 1990... -

I was in high school, watching it on a 13" Sharp tube TV in my bedroom... rabbit ears and all. No one in my family watched football except for me at that time because my father's twin brother, a high school football player, died before they were supposed to graduate together and he couldn't watch. -
They can take notes all they want to, but the vulnerability of the KC offensive line is a major problem that they can't overcome. They are 22nd in rushing offense and the same as us in passing offense. We have a much better offensive line than they do. This is the most vulnerable KC has been and the best the Bills have been overall. McD has done so much to adapt and overcome that I am impressed. This has to be OUR time.

Levy was 0-4 in Super Bowls, McDermott cannot go 0-4 vs KC

The rivalries are by no means gone in the Big Ten, that's for sure. All of those rivalry trophies are still very much alive and well and new rivalries with USC and Oregon are really coming on now with the new playoff format offering a big boost. -
