  1. Between the two dodos Gary and Randy doing Sportscenter AM, Stephen A., Pat McAfee, Orlovsky and Booger, ESPN has fatally jumped the shark. I find myself going to the internet and just reading rather than watch ESPN's harakiri lineup.
  2. 1989 Divisional Playoff Game vs. Browns Super Bowl XXV Super Bowl XXVI Super Bowl XXVII Super Bowl XXVIII Jags/Bills playoff game Forward pass playoff game vs. Titans Flutie sh** the bed playoff game vs. Dolphins The Darick Holmes fumble game vs. 49ers Shawn Jefferson BS first down/bogus PI on Henry Jones game vs. Cheatriots Any loss to Tom Brady and the Cheatriots, ESPECIALLY the McKelvin game Losman's Pisarcik game Any loss to Mahomes in the playoffs The 2022 Divisional playoff game vs Burrow and the Bungles That's all I can think of for now.
  3. If Cook was the best by far then he would get a vast majority of the touches and the contract he desires. You are making this personal when it is just business... why pay a guy who is in a rotation that much a season when you have two fully capable RBs on the roster?
  4. TINSTAWBIP There is no such thing as winning baseball in Pittsburgh thanks to the system who allows an owner to pocket tens of millions a season. EVERY Pirates fan knows Skenes will be traded and never get the ace contract in Pittsburgh.
  5. It's not like he's on the pink powder, yo...
  6. Bruce played more regular season games his last two seasons in Buffalo (31) than Bosa has in his last three (28). Bruce hardly ever missed regular season games, while Bosa has missed a lot of regular season games.
  7. I'll take that blanket conclusion over your stone faced "not enough information, wait and see" act based upon his long and storied history when it comes to injuries and games missed.
  8. This thread is like Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees, baby!
  9. It was cool in the beginning when they had a finite number of participants and you knew them, but it ended up to be an endless lineup of participants and it completely lost my interest. Seeing the ancient Woody Paige on there is a reminder that the show jumped the shark a long time ago...
  10. I was a Knicks fan for MANY years back in the 1990s and early 2000s, but after Latrell Sprewell got jobbed and Jeff Van Gundy left I became very disinterested... the game was changing for the worse, taking out defense and replacing it with 110-120-130 point per side games. It just wasn't fun anymore and I quit the NBA. Even now as the Knicks are back in the ECF I can't get the mojo up for the Knicks. The NBA just isn't the same anymore.....
  11. That reminds me of the history of my family passed down through a diary... my ancestors crossed it iced over in late February of 1817 and lost a team of horses doing it too.
  12. Remember when New York(A) and New York(N) was enough on a schedule? Those were the days...
  13. Strong with his Old Bay shout out is DEFINITELY a plus... Old Bay on wings is sooooooo good! It's also amazing on popcorn, fries, and some Royal Farms chicken... being stationed in Maryland for 7 years got me hooked on that Chesapeake flavor.
  14. Are you serious??? It was all over the news about the lack of utilization of Marvin Harrison Jr. last season and how he was frustrated.
  15. Sounds good because that doesn't bother me like the fragile ones who complain about it.
  16. There is something also unique about these playoffs though... not of the final four teams have THE GUY that has won a championship as THE GUY. Every one of them have stars, but nothing like the NFL. It is a transition year where the older stars of the past are showing signs of decline by injury or by age, and the new teams in the NBA in the ECF and WCF represent that. Three out of four weren't given nearly the press the other teams were in the Celtics, Cavs and Lakers. So in this instance, in this 2024-25 postseason, you have to have a team concept in order to win. This may change as one of those that are THE GUY break out and establish their name as great by winning a ring and start a dynasty, so we shall see. I need to see more before we proclaim the death of dynasties and say that "do your job" and "everyone eats" is in.
  17. At least you could listen to it on the radio... in the cities I was stationed in, we didn't even have THAT. It sucked big time. Back in the days of dialup internet you had to use Netscape to find the scores or buy the newspaper or watch ESPN or George Michael's Sports Machine for highlights. There are many games that I didn't even get to watch and later DirectTV wasn't even an option for the Sunday Ticket. I think it is far better to not have any hope at all for a few seasons than be tortured by false hopes year in and year out for 16 seasons. I HATED not having a real QB for all of that time... every season except for TWO in the mid 70s through 1986 had Fergy as quarterback. That at least was something before the long drought, right?
  18. None of these are really fair as Keon didn't get a full season under his belt. I think the whole comparison is totally unfair and Keon will get more opportunities to prove himself.
  19. To be fair, losing is losing... those years after the early 2000s were absolutely terrible and the litany of QBs we had to endure. Two seasons of 2-14 pales in comparison with the worst non-playoff streak in Bills history. Every decade the Bills made the playoffs except for the 2000s. Even in the 1970s when the Bills were abysmal after Kemp retired they STILL made the playoffs and had Fergy.
  20. The way he acted headhunting our players like that? NO WAY... respect is EARNED and he lost a lot of respect going out of his way to try and hurt Bills players.
  21. NO INTERNATIONAL GAME FOR THE BILLS!!!!! Absolutely AWESOME news, and we have the extra home game this season!!!!!!
  22. He is definitely NOT an idiot... he is one of the smartest people in this nation and are very lucky to have him. Come on now
  23. As a backup, all you would need was half a season in play, right? Bledsoe had a lot of playoff experience and won four playoff games and appeared in the Super Bowl while Flutie did not, so I'm taking Bledsoe as a backup.
  24. Drew Bledsoe by far... the best QB after Kelly and JA we had.
  25. Cook wants money that just isn't slotted for his position in this offense, plain and simple. Ray Davis and Ty Johnson are good for our running game and Cook has no options here... holding out is not going to get him anywhere so he has to play. We don't need Cook to win, but Cook needs us in order to get paid what he thinks he is worth.
