  1. Prepare for your thread to be locked as well, even though it has nothing to do with Mularkey!!!!!
  2. This still does not explain the complete failure of a QB school USC has been in the NFL!! Mark Sanchez, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Sean Salisbury, Rodney Peete, Pat Haden, Matt Cassel, Bill Nelsen, Pete Beathard, Vince Evans, Paul McDonald, Todd Marinovich, Rob Johnson AND John David Booty. Don't turn it around... the argument is that USC quarterbacks historically suck, big time. THAT is irrefutable.
  3. Alex Spanos or Bud Adams, by far.... they are ruining their franchises and I don't think they have a CLUE... Jerry Jones is fast becoming a bad owner, IMO... Monte Kiffin to replace Ryan??? What a fool.
  4. This story just broke on ESPN- Tebow will NOT be a Jaguar: http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/8833076/tim-tebow-new-york-jets-not-jacksonville-jaguars-plans-new-gm-says Where does he go now? Funny how things work out...
  5. Dude, you hit the nail on the head! Luckily, we're not going to draft him, so the point is moot
  6. Yeah, he gave us free exposure in his press conference, and it was funny to watch... they already have a DC ready to sign TODAY.
  7. Names like Leonhard, Greer, Hangartner, etc. were some of those 'guys' at one time and they not only made rosters, but made their teams better. Face it, we have been the Black Hole of retaining young talent.
  8. He's fully in charge now, no doubt. All of the fingers now point DIRECTLY at Rex Ryan from owner to coach. LOVE it!!!!
  9. That's great....! Now go and do what you set out to do and prove that the Bills can win again. I've been through too much of this honeymoon phase in the past. GO BILLS!
  10. Now that he IS an official candidate for DC, it is awesome. http://www.ganggreen...o-buffalo-bills WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Now this is exciting.
  11. Congratulations, the Cleveland Browns, McNabb-less Philadephia Eagles and Turner-retaining Chargers think highly of Marrone. Boy, those are GREAT examples of franchises who we should emulate... *BARF*
  12. That's probably why many coaches and GMs got fired this year, because their evaluation of our front office reflects their judgment. Bill Walsh thought very highly of Trent Edwards, Bill Cowher thought very highly of Chan Gailey... reputation means NOTHING if the team fails to produce!!!!!
  13. FINALLY someone I can respect. Your logic sir has won me slightly... and thank you. I had forgotten about Bill Walsh, seriously. I'm definitely not happy about this hire and still think it was cheap, but I can only hope you are right, that he is another Bill Walsh...
  14. No, you are positive that he's going to succeed without an NFL head coaching record, so if you are demanding links for failure, I'm demanding links for success. Idiocy for idiocy.
  15. You named three coaches in the 92 year history of the NFL, one is a retread and only one winning a championship. GOLD!!!! LOL
  16. Syracuse fans, the same fans that have football program that hasn't been in the Top 5 since.... long before the Bills' Super Bowl years??! HAHAHAAAAA. Joke.
  17. Your positive spin reuires a link where Marrone had a winning record as an NFL head coach. *crickets*
  18. We're talking about franchises that could have hired him, but we did. It is a cheap hire because the coach and staff of a college coach costs much less to the bottom line than a seasoned professional coach. My guess is that you assume that Chip Kelly was my fave and you couldn't be more wrong.... ohh, and Lovie Smith to a team to a SUPER BOWL... did Marrone do that!??!!?!?
  19. Nick Saban won multiple national championships, and is looking for another. How'd he turn out in the NFL? Steve Spurrier was one of the most successful coaches in NCAA football history. How'd he turn out in the NFL? BIG DEAL... college is NOT the NFL, and last time I checked, a fresh out of college hire hasn't won a Super Bowl since Dallas, the ONLY franchise to pull it off. That is a percentage so low that it is in single digits.
  20. I am 100% with you... I find the positive spin doctors' attempts at justifying this cheap hire as far worse than 'hilarious'. We all deserve better as Bills fans, and yet there are still those out there who get kicked in the face by a shiny golden boot and say "thank you". How many times will players and fans be kicked in the face before they realize that things are that bad?
  21. Stupid cheap organization is what I say. and another marketing BS move. I don't care, flame me, but this is by far the worst news I could have expected. We are never going to win if we continue with this management. NOTHING has changed!!!!!! More darkness...
  22. Adam Schefter just said on ESPN that Chip Kelly's college career is over with, and it is looking like he will be either the Browns or Bills head coach. It was funny he didn't mention the Eagles.... they are interviewing with him now (?)
  23. Boards are like bars- you have your regulars, your Cliff Clavins, your weekenders, your occasionals, and your one and dones. Tim Graham didn't bring in 90%, and we sure didn't lose 90% when he left. I absolutely hate PPP and avoid it like the plague but I'm not going to leave TBD because of some meatheads
  24. Thurman Thomas played for the Buffalo Bills for many years, our best NFL years, has a presence in politics, in involved inside the Bills organization, and is a Hall of Fame running back. That is far more presence that some whiny guy who huffs and puffs and takes his toys and goes home. Adding 90% of the members of this board? You should retract that, because that is obviously not true. OHH, an ON LIKE A MOFO means RW is no longer involved in day to day operations, for those writers who still haven't figured that out.
