Yep, why would you declare this now? Seems crazy to me. I’ve got to believe they draft one of the named QB prospects and if so let them compete. This declaration just seems stupid unless they really believe that Tyrod has more to offer than what was on display in Buffalo.

Who cares? Thank the Lord that the Tyrod experiment is over in Buffalo. Let the coaches and the front office do their job. They clearly have said Tyrod is not the guy. Wish him well in Cleveland.

It’s interesting because other than QB’s the league seems to get the idea that big FA signings are not the simple path to productivity and wins.

Clay has not bee consistently healthy and production out of the position has been spotty.

The Bills had major issues with their WR corps last year yet there has been no wiff of activity to improve this group so far. The actions suggest that the Bills are comfortable with what they have. Perhaps a draft pick or two adds to the group but it is rare that a draftee contributes in a big way their first year. With all of the buzz around QB somebody has to be available on the other end of the throw.

What a waste. One of the few things I miss about Dallas is no toll booths on toll roads. Just blow through at 75 mph with toll tag or not. If you don’t have toll tag they capture plate in photo, find you and charge you the toll. It’s simple, efficient and keeps traffic moving. This idiotic remanant of the 1950’s in Buffalo on the Thruway where there are some attendants and a couple of EZ pass 20 mph lanes is a waste.

OK so they are obviously targeting one or two guys in the draft.

If you really want to get the most you can - sell it yourself. Dealers are inevitably going to use KBB or their own data to drive a deal favorable to themselves. Otherwise the deal situation really comes down to you doing your homework. BTW - I think the whole car selling and buying process is crooked and slimy so I am probably not the best person to ask.

Lost in all of this is Eric Wood’s contract. He was supposed to retire but is sitting on the roster for now. I think the issue was the potential repayment of part of his signing bonus. I would guess that he either retires or is cut.

The Bills have been a perennial 8-8 team. It’s time for real change. We are getting it. The reality is that if the Bills don’t get a franchise QB out of all of these moves the the process will crash and burn. I give Beane credit for “going for it.”
